Are you 100% sold on the laptop aspect here? For £600 you could get a significantly more powerful rig that would last longer & allow for upgrades in the future. While I would personally buy parts and build it myself, I get how that can seem intimidating and offputting, but something like this might suit you for value for money!
I'd personally not bother with a gaming laptop below £1000, but you can get a serviceable rig for £500, to bundle the powerful requirements to run demanding games into a laptop frame for less means they're cutting corners somewhere, be it the processor, gpu or most likely the cooling.
That said, if a rig is off the table, I'd suggest something like this, surprisingly decent price for a 3050 gtx card:
I found Gigabyte G5 Gaming Laptop1, Intel Core i5 11400H, GeForce RTX 3060, 15.6" 144Hz Display, DOS G5 KD-52DE123SD, Black
With deal: €899.00 was: €1049.00 [on amazon]
Budget: €800-€900
Country: Italy
Screen size: everything would be fine
Screen resolution: everything would be fine, preferably 1920x1080
Touch screen: no
Weight: everything would be fine
What do you plan on doing on your laptop?: General use, gaming and 3d rendering (nothing too crazy). I was specifically searching for a rtx 3060. I found that I could afford, one is here on amazon.de and one is here on amazon.it. I'd preferably choose the first one, as it's cheaper, but I don't know which processor is better.
No, you can get an hp omen 15 with pretty much the same specs for way cheaper on the French amazon:
https://www.amazon.fr/HP-15-en1003sf-Portable-GeForce-Windows/dp/B08VS1XQ8N/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2VPF6XL3UE8DV&keywords=hp+omen&qid=1648884667&sprefix=Hp+o%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-3. You need to buy an another pair of ram to reach 16gb
I see... this ADATA SD700 512 GB external SSD is a solid choice. I personally have an ADATA external SSD that I use but it is slightly different model.
I got the same laptop around prime day, got the crucial ram OP mentions below and I got dual channel no problem.
No need to match the SSD either, I got this Kingston and it's pretty good value for money.
Instalation was slightly tricky to get the back lid open, gotta be a bit patient and carefull but after that it's easy enough to install the RAM and SSD ( watch the YT videos and you'll be good to go)
Side note : Almost 2 months in, the laptop is awesome and really glad I didn't go with the Omen 15
Only annoyance is that the 5p model doesn't have a built-in webcam
Happy gaming friend
8 GB 3200MHz Crucial RAM for £33.99 and Sabrent Rocket 256 GB NVMe SSD for £49.89.
The more budget option is the Acer Nitro 5 17".
If you are thinking about the best specs for your money then a Macbook wont suffice. This Lenovo Yoga 530 would be a very nice pick for you based on what you are looking for.
Hi, I think that you can go for a laptop with Ryzen integrated graphics. So, I recommend the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 with a Ryzen 5 processor is the best fit for running light games.
The issue though is that the one at Box, has only 8 GB RAM. What about this Dell Inspiron G5 5587 .. It has a weaker graphics card which won't matter much , but it has 16 GB RAM which will reap you huge benefits in video editing.
