This is what I use and it has been helpful. I'm not sure if it is fermented... I haven't seen it labelled as such. https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Sports-L-Glutamine-Powder-1-Kilogram/dp/B00024CSPY
Megamucosa has sugar in it, so depends how you do with sugar.
My dr recommended this colostrum Allergy Research Group Phospholipid Colostrum 300 Grams (10.6 oz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XZYKX3C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_47WPNEQVCPFY4DQ8451N?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I noticed changes within 1 week after I started taking another product with CoreBiome in it.
Butyrate supplementation is probably the fastest way to actually start fixing leaky gut.
Of course all the lifestyle changes are the best way to stay healthy going forward.
Yes, I have a sensitivity to whey and colostrum always triggered my sensitivity, I use this product instead: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0871XRYQK/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o04\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Taking amino acids can put strain on kidneys if you have weak kidneys or other reasons so only do it if your doctor thinks your kidneys are healthy enough. I take 2 capsules on empty stomach in the morning with plenty of water. And usually another capsule between lunch and dinner. It's best absorbed without food, but I started by taking it with crackers in case it upset my stomach but luckily it hasn't caused any stomach upset. It's actually kept me feeling not hungry and I've been craving sugar a lot less. It's quite nice. But I know I wasn't getting enough protein in past year since my food sensitivities had gotten so bad. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QVCAKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_YR2XC225JEFBAJGMZGW8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The product I use is this
I have noticed, my gut works better, when it's more alkaline, general medicine uses PPI-s to reduce acidity, but I try to use more natural stuff.
I first took about half a teaspoon right before bed, not necessarily on an empty stomach, but maybe 2 hours after eating. Maybe half an hour after taking it I noticed I was getting a headache, which is weird because I don't get headaches very often. Then when I laid down to go to bed, I felt a heavy weight on my chest. It was very hard to sleep that night because the weight on my chest didn't go away for hours. I lowered the dose to a 1/4th teaspoon the next day and felt a tightness in my throat that lasted for hours. I lowered the dose to an 1/8th of a teaspoon, but didn't feel any negative or positive physical effects so I stopped taking the supplement. I decided to try an 1/8th of a teaspoon again a few months ago and when I went to bed I started hearing loud voices in my head. Like the normal volume of my thoughts was turned up. Almost like their was a TV on in my head. That has never happened to me before and hasn't happened since. I've never had a reaction to foods that have glutamine in them, so maybe the pure supplement form is just too much for me. This is the l glutamine powder I tried.

Thanks for that response.
The coffee was in the form of a cold brew concentrate, and the yeast was in the form of gluten-free "Tapioca Loaf" bread. I believe it was all of the foods (coffee, yeast, eggplant, and avocado in conjunction). Eggplant is a nightshade plant, and nightshades have caused issues in myself and other people (eggplant and tomatoes are also high-histamine). Avocado is probably the most benign, but because of the large amount of fiber I get some irritation. Basically, I have been eating carnivore for a few weeks now, and I believe the lack of sugar, carbohydrate, and also fiber has helped me recover. Fiber can be good to promote "good bug" growth, but then again probiotics are not for everyone because several of the commonly used probiotic strains are producers of high histamine. I have been using a histamine-friendly probiotic strain called ProBiota HistaminX: https://www.amazon.com/Seeking-Health-HistaminX-Nutrition-Vegetarian/dp/B0773SY1X2
