I bought it since there have some plate thefts in our area. And no it’s not 100% foolproof but it would make it more difficult for ppl to steal if they only have basic tools.

Seriously easy install. 10 min taking it slow. Nice mod. Too bad wasn’t already provided by Lexus.

1) You can install it yourself. It's all plug and play, homie.

2) The Remote start solution I went with. It also has LTE in it so I can remote start, lock/unlock, and locate vehicle as long as there's LTE signal

3) Out of stock atm but check it every now and then and you can grab one of these.

If you’re not towing heavier, that should get you by for cheaper, and you can install it yourself. The wiring’s already there.

All I meant was we put a usb charger in the cigarette lighter so we could charge phones and tablets quickly. The direct USB ports in front of the cigarette lighter in our GX actually charges very slowly (1% every 10 mins on an iPhone).
