I personally wouldn't think a commute is worth it. Get some strong resistance bands. Amazon has their own brand of resistance bands up to like 125lbs resistance for like $20 each pair.
Here's a link for Amazon Canada. I'm sure it's on US Amazon too.
You can also search on Amazon for bundles, just make sure they are the long resistance loops. With them you can easily hit every muscle group.
I'd take a look at The Muscle and Strength Pyramid by Eric Helms - pretty much teaches you everything you need to know about programming for both hypertrophy and strength training at all levels. It's a far better book than Practical Programming for Strength Training which is where a lot of the programs you mention come from
It's called Jefit. The only downside is that it's Android and Web only. The Android app is awesome and free. http://www.jefit.com/
I really (really!) like it. Buzz when the rest time is over, show how to do the proper form with explanations. Easy way to keep track of your progress on many different aspects.
You can also download additional exercices from the web, add your own, sync with the website to see your progress.
Lift heavy (relative to you) compound movements focusing on 6-10 reps.
Worry about EATING REAL FOOD right now. You're 14, you can literally eat ANYTHING if you are busting your behind in the gym because you are starting to go into your PEAK METABOLISM PERIOD. Just stick to a decent lifting program and stay committed, it won't work overnight.
