Feldherr Storage Box Compatible with 144 Miniatures https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W98DCT2/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_glt_fabc_TEJFSDJ39QG71PXB4PP6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I am contemplating getting 2 of these. 1 for heros and 1 for villains/anti-heros/sentinels. Then getting card organizers that will go into the kickstarter boxes. I have a friend who prints stuff to help me with them.
I use this 10 pack from Army Painter. They are good quality and give you all the sizes you could want as a beginner (in my beginner opinion).
If you didn't want to spend that much, this three pack will get you most of what you need, it may just take a bit longer if you have to use a smaller brush because you have less options.

I got this kit to start with: https://www.amazon.com.au/Acrylicos-Vallejo-Wizkids-Premium-Starter/dp/B08C9QTTFW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?adgrpid=115700881161&gclid=Cj0KCQjw48OaBhDWARIsAMd966CCRtMyAKnECVdRWYYSnSO4tSdiq0pa4h1VFTxV2Cq2KdpADCOVuDUaAm3MEALw_wcB&hvadid=596324719106&am... It had everything I needed.
You can get the core box plus spiderverse and doctor strange for a total of £37.85 by buying it from Amazon US, it's a surprisingly good deal considering it's coming from the US to the UK.

I too would say to stay away from speed paints. Too many people think that are a quick way to "level up" and skip the beginning stages. Honestly, I think it makes minis look sloppy. For me, it is much better to just start slow and take each step one at a time.
I would highly recommend the Vallejo Basic Color set. You get a good range for a decent price and their paints are very well done and highly rated in the mini community. I bought this set as my first set and still use it all the time. https://www.amazon.com/Vallejo-Basic-Colors-Paint-17ml/dp/B009162PWU/ref=sr\_1\_5?crid=KDJYRXX47ADQ&keywords=vallejo+paint+set&qid=1658840969&sprefix=vallejo+%2Caps%2C107&sr=8-5
Awesome — thanks!
Would this (https://www.amazon.com/Army-Painter-Speedpaint-Starter-Set/dp/B09LZCYQV4/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=1OM06IN51BYV6&keywords=army+painter+speed+paint&qid=1658784015&sprefix=army+paint%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-5) be good enough of a starter set for army painter?
Not OP, but I use one of the 5,000 count BCW boxes. It holds all cards for both seasons (sleeved).
I love these for the tokens. I only use two of them for all my MU stuff. I use the other two for other games.. They fit all the tokens except the really large stun and hostage tokens. DUOFIRE Plastic Organizer... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078MDSL17?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I’ll post a pic when so get home to show what it looks like.
For me personally, I use a Feldherr box for my minis. I havent gotten around to downsizing my cards yet. This one box fits all of season 1. Not sure if I will buy 2 more for season 2, or see if Feldherr will create something more specific.

I guess there are lots of brands of tackle box; but Plano is just the one I think of. for example
Nice organization! I'm trying to keep a similar tracker from both campaigns to keep up with the add-ons. It's easier so far this time around, but I'll definitely keep an eye on your list to compare notes.
Limited-time deal: DIYMAG 300 PCS Small Refrigerator Premium Brushed Nickel Fridge, Office Magnets, 6x2 mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KJ9H31P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_dl_J8REF46EBJHNAW1D7A77?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I just got them in the mail today, so I haven't toyed around with them yet on any of the miniatures.
For the first release, I have all the non-mini components (with the cards sleeved) in the Kickstarter box. I have all the minis in one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K5HF25/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven't received X-Men yet, but I plan something similar. I'm going to try to fit all the minis in 2 of those boxes I linked, except the sentinels and maybe 2-3 oversized characters like Mojo and Brood Queen... For the oversized characters, I'm planning on cutting a custom insert in foam and storing them in an X-Men box and then putting all the other on components and cards in 1 box, like I did with the original release.
This will get me down to 4 Boxes of minis and 2 boxes of components/cards for everything. It is a lot, but this game has a ton of stuff.
Also, for starter paints I would recommend the Basic Colors set from Vallejo.
Vallejo makes great paint that is easy to work with and doesnt need a lot of work to get thinned properly.
With a circle cutter
Mr. Pen- Compass Circle Cutter, Circle Cutter, Fabric Circle Cutter, Circle Cutter for Paper Crafts, Compass Cutter, Circular Cutter, Cutting Compass, Circle Cutter for Fabric, Circle Cutting Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FRRV2ZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6QXXG7NJ889PZJ4EV5P6
Also remember that if you remove the sticky tack and some is still stuck to the miniature, take a blob of the sticky tand blot at the left over stuff and it will pick it up off the miniature.
I sleeve almost every boardgame with KMC perfect fit. $170 for 4k (2.5¢ per sleeve). Sometimes cheaper.

50 bucks to store... You'll probably need to buy more dividers too....
If you're looking to acquire the X-Men MU, might be better to go with cardboard option to save money, a bajillion more cards incoming
At first I bought these magnetic sheets from Amazon that are like the back of fridge magnets. It was super easy to cut and apply but they weren’t strong enough to hold the figs.
I actually ended up getting a metal toolbox though and it works great. I don’t have all the expansions but this one worked for me Stanley Proto J9954-NA Proto General Purpose Tool Box https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B002CTNF6I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_X9FY8HWCZYBYQJRHM0T8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is the pallet I ended up getting. Pretty cheap, just something to start with.
My personal gripe is that when thinned down, it was taking 6 or more coats to get a good color, which is why I'm wondering if I thinned it down too much. The Visor is an issue, but that's straight up me being frustrated and impatient. After trying to freehand eyes onto the visor (to give the illusion of being transparent) I didn't like the results and decided to just go with the straight visor. After 4 coats, the eyes were still partially visible. So I just said screw it and used straight, unthinned paint to cover up. And normally I would clean up the base, again, just so annoyed with this mini for whatever reason.
I do have a Canon T3i I bought years ago that I started using. But I think the lighting is the most important part. I use this light I bought from amazon to paint with and take pictures. I think most modern phones have some contrast settings you can play with to achieve similar photos.
The price went up to $34 but here is the link
I mean it stops paint from drying period. Super easy to use one, you can make your own or I use this one and it works great.
this is a really good set and it’s pretty cheap. As for paint, I’d probably go with reaper paints as they’re a little cheaper and grab yourself a citadel nuln oil as well for washing. If you need further help hit me up or head over to the mini painting subreddit they’re a great resource.
It’s a citadel painting Handel amazon sells them for about $15. They work really well and are adjustable. I’d highly recommend them if you’re thinking of getting into painting.
