No kidding. I'd hate to live next door to these two.
OP, you seem to think the barking is cute for reasons that aren't clear to me. If you change your mind, this stuff can be hugely helpful for managing dogs barking at stuff outside.
Great! In my opinion this should be mandatory before anyone gets a dog (It's pretty short) https://www.amazon.com/Katz-Dogs-Commonsense-Training-Living/dp/0812974344/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=katz+on+dogs&qid=1554931520&s=gateway&sr=8-1
That assumption is wrong, sadly! I know there were better statistics out there, especially in /r/dataisbeautiful. Think you're giving too much credit to those who actually speak English.
But quick search shows the majority of traffic on Reddit is U.S. itself.
Anecdotal, but ever since facebook it was clear that many people that I've added since, when posting anything that is about "losing" or about a "lose," born and raised Americans will still use "loose" or even worse: "loosing."
So yes, it definitely is not that.
And I do remember a funny comment chain a few years back where people were talking about typos, if it was pointed out just claim that English wasn't your first language and everything would be okay!
My dog (rescue/attachment anxiety) also had a couch chewing issue when we first started leaving the house. We ended up getting a collapsible dog gate for around the couch and it worked like a charm. It has hooks that attach to the wall so it's easily taken down or put up similar to the time it takes to put a dog in or take a dog out of a cage. After a couple months he got used to our schedule and when his anxiety started to subside the gates came down.

I use RIF. Crossposts have a little "Share" icon by the sub name under the post title. And when you bring up the post menu, one of the options is "View Original at ."
Hi OP, not sure if you already have one or what not, but have you thought about a ring attachment so your dog can more easily walk around the house without worrying about bumping into stuff?
