Ok, good. Re: the “PoE” MoCA filter.
You might consider getting the 70 dB MoCA filter ordered, as well.
Sorry to hear, Mediacom is my only option where I currently live also. Unfortunately, they won't do jack remotely/over the phone to help you.
Are you using their issued cable modem? If so, return it to them and buy your own cable modem. Get a nice one, buy once-cry once. If another company becomes available, it should be compatible with them also. This is the one I have(have used with Charter, WOW, Xfinity, and now Mediacom) - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077BL65HS/?coliid=I135AEOARIJL32&colid=1P8NPG5XCNYBZ&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
I bought a used one off eBay for $30 if you want to go that route...
Very easy to switch them out. Just call tech customer support and say "I have my own cable modem I want to activate." They'll ask for the MAC ID (sticker on modem) so just have it ready. They should email you a return label for their modem after yours is activated.
Every issue I had with internet went away instantly. I pay for 400 down/30 up and consistently get 390+ and low ping/latency on ethernet.
Their cable modems(as are the other cable companies) are mass produced, complete sht junk.
If you still have issues, it's their line and a tech will have to come out and check.
Hope this helps!
Here are the results to googles DNS servers using this website https://tools.keycdn.com/traceroute :
9.|-- 8.8.8.8 0.0% 4 1.8 1.8 1.6 2.1 0.2
I would assume that these numbers are good? What does this result tell me?
Should I be using googles DNS servers for my router?
I am having the same problem, download fine, upload speed measured in Kb. All signal levels fine on Medicom owned modem. Bad results from Speedtest.net and Fast.com, I updated my Cisco Router's firmware, directly connected to modem to no avail. Tech scheduled to come out in six days!
If you are tech savvy, I recommend Mikrotik. Below is one good option for $75. Mikrotik routers are very advanced. If you have little to no networking knowledge, I wouldn't recommend them.

What I plan on doing is installing these devices in my phone jacks to make use out of those old things. Then I can charge my phone in case of a power outage.
I wont use the landline phone unless theres an emergency. Is the voip phone expensive? I have mediacoms internet.

It's better than nothing. Do you get cell service? U could also just get an unlimited data plan from that and setup a hotspot in your home from your phone. That's what I do when Mediacom goes down. Or you could use your cell SIM card and use it with something like this. https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Tri-Band-Internet-Supports-LBR20-100NAS/dp/B0886XZLSJ/ref=sr\_1\_3?dchild=1&keywords=sim+card+home+internet&qid=1626103760&sr=8-3
That router looks fine, DOCSIS 3.0 (or 3.1) is all it needs to say to know that it should work.
When you say "main box", do you mean Set Top Box? What make and model is that?
You need to connect your SmartTV to the Internet to make it Smart. Is it connected wirelessly? That would be enough, but you could also use MoCA to connect it, potentially. You can get your own MoCA bridge on Amazon, try this Motorola product:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Y3SQXR/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_QGb3Cb0EJ1X20
MoCA uses the Coax cable in your house and piggybacks an Ethernet signal on top of the digital cable signal. You would need a pair of them, if the router doesn't support MoCA natively (it doesn't look like the MG7315 does).
Bmic31 is pretty spot on here. IMO, always avoid all-in-ones. Their wifi radios are usually cheaper and underwhelming. For a modem, I'd recommend something like a Arris SB6190 (for Internet-200 and below) or SB8200 for Internet-500 and 1 Gig. The Netgear AC2600 Nighthawk would probably be good enough but of course there are better Nighthawk routers with better distance / capabilities. Also make sure to have your 2.4 and 5 ghz networks named different names, such as "wifi" and "wifi-5GHz." You could have an ethernet able going from your wifi router to your main TiVo box and create a MoCA connection using the main TiVo's internal MoCA. A "dongle" isn't necessarily needed.
As for Red Dead, I have had different ISPs, computers, consoles, routers, and modems... and I've ALWAYS had problems with Rockstar's online gaming. It's embarrassingly terrible. Back when I was trying to play GTA 5, Rockstar support told me to try the Unlocator DNS instead of my ISP's. Nothing worked so I just ... stopped trying to play anything made by Rockstar.
Hardware related: Do you have any power or coax surge protectors between the modem and the wall that you can bypass for a temporary test? Is your power outlet properly grounded? Do you have a coax splitter that you can temporarily bypass to see if these disconnects on your internet connection stop occurring?
