I’ve only been using it a couple of months, but I’ve had good results with this misting system and a smart hose timer. I just set it up to run for 15 minutes several times a day.
Thanks for being here!
Unfortunately I can't offer anything that a simple google search won't bring up. I am a child of the internet so I typically do my research online. But there are books such as Common Mosses of the Northeast. There are literally thousands of different kinds of moss in the world so narrowing down by region would probably be important but This Book seems to be a good start, I guess.
I found theseat an estate sale and I use them to fan things off my moss. They work great.
Loupes don’t have enough magnification for moss. I suggest a pocket microscope that can be used with and without slides. This one is great for the price:

They’re on Amazon.
I had painted them all greens and browns to appear more “natural” but this little blue guy has been out in the rain for some time.
