That post was so hard to read... some basic grammar wouldn't hurt.
My case of choice is not waterproof, but I really like the look and reasonable drop protection! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017MYQR44/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you need something rugged, I would definitely recommend Otter Box. Had great experiences in the past with their cases!
I think it depends on how you use your phone. If you are clumsy and heavy handed, like I am, I'd strongly recommend a good case. I got an OtterBox Defender case because they have a great warranty and I love the belt clip, and of course they are very rugged (dropped mine down a flight of concrete stairs and no damage to the phone occurred). It is kinda expensive at around $60, but I think that's a cheap insurance policy for a $350+ phone that can cost over $100 to repair if it does break.
And I found out while writing this that apparently Otterbox doesn't sell a case for the pure anymore. But here is a link to it that I found on amazon if you're interested:
Just got this one. Only used it a few hours but it seems fine. You really have to stretch the webbing to make it fit, but the upside of that is that it seems pretty secure.
I've had mine for a little over a year as well and have used nothing but the Turbo Charger out of necessity and I haven't noticed much loss in battery life. Maybe about an hour off SoT but not much more. I was recommended AccuBattery and it has worked pretty well in estimating usage and battery health.
