you can wire your own though, the Kawa one is too expensive.

I have and amazon one and its also got a battery voltage meter built in for cool factor. I love it and it is 1/4 of the kawa price one that is nothing special anyway
these look really cool but I can’t see them working better for the view than stock mirrors. Maybe bar end mirrors or longer stem mirrors would be better…

I used this with the ball adapter and vibration dampener on my 2017 650, and it works great and is very solid
Pulling on it lifts the front of the bike up.
I just did this to my wife's 2021 Ninja 650. I used this because it would work no questions asked and because it was available. Since you have a 14, make sure this would work if you're going to go this route.
It get LOW, so be aware :) But it stays high if you like, best option out there if you ask me. Unlimited height ranges.
Yes - I can speak directly to this.
The helmet is the helmet buy what you want and can afford. Buy something nice for your noggin. Just about any helmet will have cut outs inside for speakers.
Coms - I prefer the Cardo stuff. There are a few different models but they all work with each other. Cool thing about Cardo is that you can use blue tooth mode to talk to any other coms set OR if everyone has a cardo one you can use their "mesh tech" which is a proprietary type of protocol, but it allows you to piggy back off the cardo in front of you to get to the guy in the front of the group. So range is really pretty decent when you are riding with a group of cardos.
Music - Cardo does all that too, just like any other blue tooth speaks, but with controls on the side of your helmet. I listen to music 100% of the time that I ride, unless I am with a group and we are using coms. You could do both at the same time but I usually do not.
Mount - a lot of people like the cross lock thing. I forget what it is called. I didnt love that idea as you have to use their phone case. I have the RAM X mount and it works really well in the fork stem, holds the phone tight.
Charging - The battery tender USB will work 100%, but you also have that beautiful knock out on the left of your dashboard. I (Again personally) would look at something like THIS
It has QC3 USB-A and USB-C. It also doubles as a pretty cool looking battery meter that you can turn on and off as you wish.
I have that exact one and I keep one of each cables in my "trunk" Micro USB, USB C and Lightning.
Its not a hard job to install as Kawa had already planned for it. Take off the left fairing, find the cable for the plug, cut off their connector and wire up your USB charger.

anything that I missed? Good luck!
I don't know about the Quad lock in particular, but I've got my Ram X-Mount attached to the fork stem hole of my 2021 Ninja 650 with one of these guys:

It fits perfectly and is rock solid.
From a comment I posted on another post.
“Scrolling through this subreddit since it’s my first time here and saw your comment. Don’t know if you figured it out but I had the same problem and the only way to get it to work through there is by getting this stem and getting a ball joint adapter to connect to it. I personally use the ram mounts ball joint connector and quadlock pro ball mount with vibration dampener and the case. Hope this helps!”
For a helmet Bluetooth headset, I have this:
It is reliable, good battery life, works with voice commands. The noise cancelling is apparently pretty good. People have told me that they couldn't tell I was driving during a phone call. I have a friend with one and I have been impressed with the noise cancelling on his.
I haven't tried to pair with any other people's headsets for the intercom so I can't say if it is seem less.
The voice prompts are recorded by a non-native English speaking individual. It is only slight, but a source of laughs initially.
The biggest pro is the price. It is half the cost of similarly equipped models from the big name brands.
Here are the LEDs I ordered: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08M31KKN2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It comes with a remote that allows you to control them. Here are the available settings:
- 9 solid colors, 1 setting that fades through the colors
- One "breathe" mode, where a single color will fade in and out brightness. The speed of the "breathing" can be changed
- One "flash" mode, where it'll flash a color repeatedly. Never use this as it's distracting. The speed of the flashing can be changed
- Brightness can also be changed via the key remote.

I hooked this into my brake light wire, so it turns on when the bike is on and doesn't drain the battery otherwise. It remembers the setting between when I shut the bike off and turn it on again.

I am using this RAM handle bar mount and works great. Dont get the fork mount since the grove in the fork is hexagonal and you need a special kind of fork stem which is $50 to mount it.
This is my tank bag. Not huge, but I like it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRS7L9H/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_DBVWHCEEE3R99DB9MA7D?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And this is my tail bag, also nice
Just think I'd prefer hard shell saddlebags
You can also pickup one of these $30 led kits if it’s legal in your state. It’s supposedly legal here in PA. They also change to red when pressing brakes led kit
