I have a cat I think is half NFC. I taught him to love being brushed and he demands to be brushed several times a day. I get at least half a kitten out of him each time. I have no idea how he still has so much fur left, but he’s very soft and doesn’t have any mats in his fur.

This one - note "sensitive skin" version with plastic tipped bristles - is least hated/most tolerated here. My fluffy boy will put up with that for 10x longer than the same activity with a rake style brush. Hope it helps
