Hey! Hi! 😊
Literally my FIRST time on reddit... I signed up only for DLIVE... LOL!
Anywho... I think in the nearer future you should think about partnering (or whatever it takes) to have DLIVE be one of the offered platforms on restream.io. Currently, we CAN use it, but must pay because DLIVE acts as a custom RTMP. I think this service could potentially help a lot of folks transition from other places, as we need to be getting their attention too.
If DLIVERS were able to easily stream to a slew of platforms ALL while talking about how great DLIVE is... just think of the potential. Think of it! ... 😏
Yeah. That's my answer. I have other suggestions... but first go make friends with Restream.io! Or something similar 😉
Hi DeRobyJ, Thanks for the questions. 1. LINO Points on the Testnet have not direct relationship with Mainnet. I am not allowed to comment further on this. Sorry for the inconvenience. 2. 5% for viewers will be distributed based on the Viewer Reward Algorithm, which is still under development. Therefore, DLive is using its own fund to test the water without using our Algorithm on the blockchain. 3. Please check the DLive community stream which answered all confusions. So I'm in the same boat as you. Been streaming on Twitch for a little over a year, close to 625 followers and was getting 20-25 viewers before Twitch changed the algorithm for how views are counted. Now I get around 5-6 active people but sometime Twitch only shows 2-3 viewers, myself being 1 of them.
So I started using Restream.io and now stream to Twitch as well as DLive and Mixer to try and build a base before completely cutting off Twitch. I know it's against Twitch TOS to stream elsewhere within 24 hours of your broadcast, but honestly who cares at this point. Twitch has boned the small streamer with all their changes, it's hard to get eyes on your channel unless you win a national tournament or get recognized from another streamer. Restream.io is free to use and has a chat window that allows all the platforms you stream to show up in one feed with the platforms icon next to the chat so you know what platform they commented on. May want to give it a try. Good luck OP!
Unfortunately, the mic I use is not as good as yours so I can't recommend anything. That being said, the mic I have was better than my HyperX Cloud Alpha's mic by a mile so I'd imagine your snowball is even better. You can add a noise suppression filter for your mic in obs or slobs, whichever one you use, to remove background noise from your mic. That's what I did. The mic stand I use is a cheap one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Microphone-Suspension-Broadcasting-Voice-Over/dp/B00DY1F2CS/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=neewer+microphone+stand&qid=1562338696&s=gateway&sr=8-3 The mic stand is great because when you're done, you can move it to the side so it's not in the way. As for Restream.io, it merges your DLive chat and Twitch into one chatbox, that way you can interact with followers from both platforms at the same time without having to switch between the 2

Hey Mythix, can you try logging out of DLive.tv and logging back into DLive using your LINO Account, try going live again!
If it fails, come join us on Discord and ask for Cheech in the help-center channel. We will get this fixed for you! 💛
I do see people posting when they go live so I figure posting the VOD is okay. If it is not and this gets removed that is fine and I apologize in advance. I am ranbling as I have been up after a long day you will hear about in the vod lol - this was more of a test stream and there will be more tomorrow if you enjoyed this after I wake up from my soon to be coma.
tl:dr - VOD = https://dlive.tv/p/dlive-89862495+5sG2CakWR
Feedback appreciated, I do know I need to update overlay I just threw stuff out there for now as more of a placeholder and eventually I'll get a Cam, thanks.
On a vacation right now but before I left, I was able to get chat payloads up and running and commands controlling my room lighting in about 3 hours.
I wish I had the code on my laptop but I never put it into my source control. All in all it is about 45 lines of code if I recall using w3cwebsockets. I will be happy to share what I got when I return in a week. just PM me or hit me up at https://dlive.tv/vegasvault after this coming Tuesday. I have been coding and explaining the code on stream to anyone that asks.
Welcome to DLive. I'm JoesDailyGames the platform. I would recommend not doing the F4F model. Chances are you are just inflating your numbers and that reflects poorly on you. Your best bet is to be part of the community. I've seen massive growth because I've embraced the community and have shown support, which later returned support for me. Best of luck! #DLiveFam

https://dlive.tv/ZiroHero Here is my channel. I've streamed once and it was quiet. Of course it was only day one but so far I'm watching a few channels and its seems very friendly.
Could F1 2018 be an esport on dlive? I can totally see it as an esport. https://dlive.tv/v/mesecur+oMlx5X3ig (Multiple platforms would be recommended :) I.e. PS4 league, Xbox league, pc league.)
I try and do a couple of times a work going through older games, most recently Half-Life and Silent Hill. Is that old enough to count as retro ? How about Dizzy on the ZX Spectrum - that has to count !
I've created an account on Dlive but haven't tried streaming there yet. I know this might be a biased place to ask, but is it worthwhile moving over from Twitch ?
My girlfriend Alt loves to do retro, she's a mute so it's pure gameplay with her stopping to lore drop about the games histories.
She does some modern but she's a machine when it comes to retro.
Check her out sometime might enjoy her https://dlive.tv/LinKurosawa
Hello and welcome to Dlive! I usually stream retro pokemon games and old gba games, right now I'm doing a pokemon heart gold nuzlocke and I'm planning some great retro stuff for this month.

I actually use OBS Studio included chat feature, It's amazing with restream.io if you use it.
Of course, you'll need a second monitor or play windowed games (I mostly play Emulators or windowed games because I Speedrun and I want to see the timer), but if you do, OBS Studio is great for that
