Like the u/HiglandG said, it's pretty much cosmetic. If you want a quick and easy fix you can get some of this PVA PH Neutral Archival glue.
It's handy to have for all sorts of omni repairs. Put a small dot on a paper towel and then take a tiny brush or even a toothpick and just apply some glue in those spots. It dries clear and you would never notice. But with the pics above it's nothing to worry about and will hold up just fine with reading over the years.
You should invest in a Ring Video Doorbell
No I mean every time the X-Men guest starred in another Marvel book outside of those reprints.
This Marvel Masterworks collects many of them.
If you’re not that interested in the tie-ins, I’d honestly wait for Vol. 3 of Geoff Johns Flash Omnibus since that’d bridge from Barry re-entering the universe to that event mini-series.
https://www.amazon.com/Flash-Geoff-Johns-Omnibus-Vol/dp/1779513453
Looks like wrong link posted try https://www.amazon.com/Sandman-Omnibus-Vol-1/dp/1401241883/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=sandman+omnibus&qid=1624033619&sprefix=sandman&sr=8-1
Edit: maybe the absolute went on sale or had a pricing error back at $80ish for me too, amazon does that some times, anyway the omnibus has a coupon right now to get it down to a similar price.
Oh dang, I'm sorry man haha! I lucked out as I sat on it for a few hours before deciding to get it. Good news for you though: Amazon is doing a buy 1-save 50% sale as well, and I just checked. Batman by Loeb qualifies for the deal and it's price-matched with Target. If you're willing to risk Amazon packaging, you can still get it there with another book of your choosing, if there's any other book you want. :) https://www.amazon.com/Batman-Jeph-Loeb-Sale-Omnibus/dp/1401284264/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=batman+by+loeb+omnibus&qid=1620159599&sr=8-1
For $87 you can buy the Infinite Crisis Omnibus, which is 1424 pages and was a big event comic that Geoff Johns wrote.
The Aquaman Omnibus is great, too.
Batman by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale Omnibus
You can wait until June to get the New 52 Justice League Omnibus which was written by Geoff Johns.
Nightwing: The Prince of Gotham Omnibus recently came out.
I Checked amazon uk. The excalibur omnibus seems to be delayed until mid Jan but they have 2 copies of Inifinity Gauntlet Omnibus in stock as of this message. Shipping Omnibuses to sweden has always worked pefectly fine for me so Denmark should be no problem since we use the same postal system now.
i think you would be better off getting one of those floorstanding lamps with a magnifying glass. like this: Floorstanding Lamp - Magnifying Glass
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084NSXKZ1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That's the amazon link. "Sign Master Store USA" so one of many overseas sellers, but they were INSANELY pleasant to deal with. The shipping took a while, but the end result is beyond worth it in my opinion.
Its the same style sign that hung in one of my LCS' windows for years, and I always wanted one like it. Been trying to get a DC one too but I don't like any of the options I've seen.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O7OH1IY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I usually use this to cover them as I don't usually take them off while reading them
The closest I've seen is the Archive 1000 Pages books which are closer to compendiums. They are 6.5"x4.6" so they aren't the larger print format, but they are 1,000 pages. But seeing that the page size of the original books is much smaller than comics, it might make sense.
Thank you!
The bags I use I just bought from Amazon, I've experimented a bit until I found one that was thick enough. The link I bought it from is this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KUV5WVG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
But someone here recommended BCW Magazine covers which should fit most omnis, so I'll probably get one of those next.
I gotta say, I just love that you guys are interested about it, I thought I was a bit OCD when I bought them! 😂 But then again, you gotta love your omnis!
I was really lucky that I got it with a decent price. Not as good as the guys who could buy them at RRP, but it was a lot less than the prices I've seen on eBay.
The bags I use are nothing special, I just got them on Amazon. They are quite thick and relatively cheap. I paid less than £10 (so around $10) for 100 of them. Might be a bit more expensive now. Only issue is that the size I got just about fits the Inferno Omni, so my Marvel Omnis are mostly fine but... Some of my DCs like Final Crisis definitely need Smth bigger.
100 Plain Resealable Reusable... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KUV5WVG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Same thing happened to me a few months ago! The listing didn't say "Jr" anywhere on it. If I looked into the listing details, then yes in my case at least the product dimensions were too small. If it had said "Jr" in the listing or in the picture I would have caught this.
I returned it for free because the product I received didn't match the description due to the "Jr" thing.
Ended up getting this instead (not a Flippy but similar):
Jeff Smith (Bone creator) has a Shazam series that's getting an ohc next year that's pretty universally loved https://www.amazon.com/Shazam-Monster-Society-Jeff-Smith/dp/1779521553/ref=mp_s_a_1_27?crid=3AVFH0YT94IWF&keywords=dc+comics&pscroll=1&qid=1662912734&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011%2Cp_n_condition-type%3A1294423011&rnid=12944210...
It doesn’t fit the book completely so I just adjust its placement to keep it even. works great.
Just had the exact same issue about a week ago and I fixed it very easily like some others in the comments. A heavy anount of PVA bookbinding glue applied with a brush good as new. Follow the video somebody posted. You may want a thick coat as mine came unglued a couple times until I poured some down the spine and wiped off the excess that leaked out. Came out good as new.
Books by Hand pH Neutral PVA... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0025TZ26Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I like the fact that it has so many universal flexible and adjustable options.
Not an omni, but there’s the Marvel Value Stamps: A Visual History book that I’ve wanted for quite some time, I think original release was sometime in 2021, pushed back a few times now, currently to Feb. 2023. So maybe I’ll see it sometime next summer if I’m lucky??
Amazon has each for much less. https://www.amazon.com/Animal-Grant-Morrison-Book-Deluxe/dp/1401285473/ref=sr_1_2?crid=M9CZNRA4UJF2&keywords=animal+man&qid=1660612716&sprefix=animal+man%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-2
I'd pay an extra $5-10 for a set of non-Omnibus Deluxe Editions personally
Yeah. I've gotten all sorts of weird resposes about this one particularly. Even my local comic shop can't track it down but here it is. And on a couple online book stores too.
I buy them by the yard, like this one:
I read them with a laptop desk. Can't find the one I own, but these two are similar.
If you read at a table/desk, I would recommend a book stand to keep the book elevated. This is the one I use.
If I'm looking for something a little more casual, I usually read on my couch with a Flippy.
I don't usually read omnis in bed. It's never all that comfortable, and honestly I like good lighting for reading comics. If I want to read in bed, that's usually when I go with my iPad.
I just read your answers on your other posts. I see other people are curious about this as well. So is that 'plastic bag' you mentioned in those posts a cellophane? Like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kraft-Co-Cellophane-Wrap-Roll/dp/B09DH8YS4X
I don't have the OPB one, but I'm pretty sure it is very similar to the one that I do own that I bought on Amazon. It's cheaper, but I'm pretty sure it's basically the exact same. I like mine. The quality is pretty solid for $15. It doesn't work as well for huge books like War of the Realms, but that book is just huge.

The Gallery edition classifies more as an Artist Edition if I am not mistaken? They have a low printing volume and I don't see it being printed again. But the Elektra omnibus is available at the moment https://www.amazon.com/Elektra-Frank-Miller-Omnibus-Printing/dp/0785195564
Since he's such a good friend and you really wanted it for him, here it is still available on Amazon.

Marvel U by Claremont for sale new for $45 from Amazing Comics (3rd party seller). I just received my copy, well packaged and pristine condition.
Amazon has Savage Sword of Conan vol 7 at half off. I've been watching it, waiting for a big discount, and it's stayed right around $100 until this morning. This is by far the best deal I've seen for it!
Batman Beyond titles were fun, but as a single collection I’d highly recommend this.
there’s been two volumes of the early material. both are very OOP and I’m hesitant to believe it’ll be reprinted anytime soon.
Sort by publisher? You don't need to give me an excuse to play with my books lol. Yeah been using the Ikea Billy but someone suggested the Kallax gonna try that next seem like it's stronger.
Link to the bags :
Have you considered Pat Contri’s book? It costs more, but it’s the full library in one volume. And there is an SNES one
Here’s the link It looks like they mislabeled it but if they cancel/change I’ll fight it.
I never had to do a fix like this, but I think you probably need a tape like this or similar:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D96LG78?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_3WQ97BNNYZABRDSQA89E
And just glue the end page back together. What I'm seeing from the pictures, I think that's the only major damage there.
I'm gonna copy a post I made a few days ago for a user with a similar issue
......
The good news though is that is actually an easy fix. I have hundreds of omnis and OHC in my collection and buy lots of damaged ones like this as they aren't too bad too fix.
I used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KNJEYA/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_H1TBTQSNJFMBZSR4435H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It is a book safe glue. Just apply some to a brush, preferably a clean one you don't mind getting a bit gluey, and gently apply some to where the binding has come away from the cover. Once applied close the book and let it lay flat for a day or more, and it should be good as new.
You may still have some seams and areas where, when the pages are open, the binding might be a bit exposed. I am usually fine with that as it can happen to new books anyways. You can look at ways to tighten then, but generally I find they aren't worth the effort.
Is a great tutorial on it.
If you aren't set on this specific version this one was released last year
Some people use aluminum u-channel strips. They are typically sold at 96" in length and are cut down and slid over the back of the shelf.
https://smile.amazon.com/Outwater-Shf-A750-Wh-Aluminum-U-Channel-C-Channel/dp/B07MJPK99F/
They don't need to go across the entire shelf because having the support in the middle of the shelf is enough to prevent bending.
If you are willing to order from amazon Canada, they have it in stock at full pop though:

It is unlikely you'd be able to get a replacement, unless it was just recently purchased and the original buyer initiated an exchange with the store they purchased it from.
The good news though is that is actually an easy fix. I have hundreds of omnis and OHC in my collection and buy lots of daged ones like this as they aren't too bad too fix.
I used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KNJEYA/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_H1TBTQSNJFMBZSR4435H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It is a book safe glue. Just apply some to a brush, preferably a clean one you don't mind getting a bit gluey, and gently apply some to the back of where the pages are lifting from the binding. Once applied close the book and let it lay flat for a day or more, and it should be good as new.

So I bought this to hold my omnibuses while I read them, found it really easy to sit it in front of me while I’m lounging on my couch or sitting at my desk. I got the 15.6x10.4 inch size. It’s really sturdy and holds up the book well, plus it has little prongs that you can use to hold your page.
Go for one of these. Two different angles and a large enough surface for the book to rest on. I use on side for physical books and the other to hold my 2 in 1 laptop for digital reading.
Where are you looking to preorder from? If you just wanted to pre-order from anywhere I found it pretty quickly.
https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Nights-Omnibus-Scott-Snyder/dp/1779517033
No, actually I meant the as-yet-unpublished Volume 3. Volume 2 is out and still available:
This one reprints up through Doctor Strange's return as part of the launch of the Defenders in Marvel Feature #1. I'm hoping to get a subsequent Omnibus Volume 3 that would pick up with the Marvel Premiere run, then the first Doctor Strange #1 from 1974 and following.
The most anticipated omnibus of the last 5 years if not more was always going to go OOP immediately. Hickman FF went out of print immediately. You didn’t think Thor by Aaron would???
Go to this link and buy it like right now if you want it https://www.amazon.com/Thor-Jason-Aaron-Omnibus/dp/1302934856/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=8F70E4O8YEYP&keywords=thor+omnibus&qid=1651586710&sprefix=thor+omnibus%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-1
Sorry my bad I had a typo in my comment.
This is what I was referring to: The Original Flippy Multi-Angle Soft Pillow Lap Stand for iPads, Tablets, eReaders, Smartphones, Books, Magazines (True Blue) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07MQBP3Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_05RDJB9MWDT4B1EW0T4Y
I personally use a Flippy to read in bed and love it. I sit with my legs crossed and the Flippy in my lap, slightly tilted back with the omnibus on top. I know a lot of others in those sub use it as well. :)
This would be the type of glue mentioned that you would need. Ph Neutral, acid-free, archival, dries clear.
PVA is good. Sure it's here on Amazon but you can get it much cheaper at IST/CGN/OPB.
It’s Darwyn Cooke, so the art is perfect.
That's coming from CGN, so it will be packed safely and arrive quickly.

I'm interested in the presentation and what the portfolio is like or if that consists of only those two prints. I think they're trying to do something really special so yes I'm in.
There's also a deluxe edition of Megalex and a larger format edition of Madwoman of the Sacred Heart (not sure why it's not called deluxe) coming out.

I got this a few days back from Amazon on sale $20 off. Add it to your cart and wait a few months for a sale, or just pull the trigger. It's a good deal at $80 or $100. It can hold and read an omni nice, has a top table and sub table for extra stuff. I keep my lunchbox of paraphernalia there
It's great for chilling reading an omni, drinking some coffee and setting some snacks or pipe down. A solid A rating. I wish it came in all black
I haven’t bought it yet, but this is the one I was talking about. Maybe I’m part of the problem since I didn’t buy it.
I bought one of these. Works great for omnis on the more slanted side and holds my 2 in 1 laptop on the other side.

This is the link, I'm in Aus but it definitely says Amazon US product. Maybe it's international stock only?
> Omnis aren't published digitally
Not true. I just checked - however before my last post, I didn't.
Here's the Kindle version of Uncanny X-Men Omni Vol 1 and it looks like if you're a Comixology Unlimited subscriber, you save an extra 15% which makes the final price of the book around $34 before tax.
This is how I’d fix it. - Take two toothpicks an stick them on either side of that gap. - Close the book and stand it up. - Squirt some glue or put the glue on another toothpick and spread it around the gap as much as possible. - Take toothpicks out and clean up excess glue. - Set the book spine down on your shelf, between other books to keep it closed tightly. - Let it sit for at least 24 hours.
Use this glue.

My origami shelf has held up great for almost 2 years now. It folds in half so very easy to move and more important, no freaking assembly! lol It's made out of metal and doesn't bow either.
I use metal books ends and reverse them behind the face outs. For the omnibus editions this keeps them from falling, on the deluxe editions (which I collect as well) they lean back a bit. I tend to change up what books face out anytime I add a new book to a case. book ends
I'm in the same boat as you. Ikea is 2.5 hours away. I bought these shelves from Amazon. Each cube can hold 30 pounds. The top shelf can hold 100 pounds.

There is an OHC that also collects some other Kraven stories, but it's long out of print.
I bought one of these. Different angles on each side with 3 "slots" giving it plenty of space to hold an omni on the more tilted side and holds my 2 in 1 laptop on the other side.
I got this however I received it on a sale after someone here or on r/graphicnovels posted the deal. If you search for lap desk there should be some other options.
Are they reprinting it? This book is readily available now: https://smile.amazon.com/Captain-America-Brubaker-Omnibus-Vol/dp/1302927922/ref=sr\_1\_13?crid=2V3TD991Z9ZYF&keywords=brubaker+omnibus&qid=1640829704&s=books&sprefix=brubaker+omnibus%2Cstripbooks%2C84&sr=1-13
it happens not normal but it happens use this type of glue let it sit for a day and use a little divider like piece of paper or flat stick so it wont stick to the hc spine.
It's still available on Amazon right now, unless we're talking about a different book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1302929704/ref=crt\_ewc\_title\_oth\_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Np. Most of the time and effort was done some time ago, but I realized I had to explain a little about my reading system to make sure it made sense.
You can read the Kree/Skrull War on its own. A TPB can be found here on Amazon.
It’s not essential reading for Secret Invasion, it’s a classic Avengers story from the 70’s that reads a little slower than more modern stories, but like I said, gives more behind the motivations of the Skrull during Secret Invasion, plus New Avengers Illuminati #1 is a flashback story that picks up after the TPB. Kind of cool to know background, but then again Illuminati #1 also serves as a reminder of what happened in the TPB…
Hope you’re enjoying the events. Looking for any recommendations, plenty of that around here, but it’s a deep rabbit hole. One of the reasons I don’t collect much DC at all. No space!
Ah why? Why would you waste money on this. I saw the amazon reviews and images after posting this
There's a Thanos Infinity Origin omnibus which has pretty much all the buildup you'd need.
That's pretty much starting from the beginning and worth it if you are unaware of all the big players. If you know who they are, then not as necessary but can still be fun if you've never read.
I like that a lot and may pick it up.
Here is another suggestion for anyone looking for something like this: This fits on your lap and has worked well for me.
This will work good for maybe about a year. Especially if you start putting other things on it on different sides of it the plastic part will start to Warp. So after a while I threw it out. That's more for TV dinners than a chunky Omni. I recommend this one I've had it for over 6 months obviously it's a little bit less flexible but you could still get some good reading angles on the table will last you long time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087CP96MC/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_27VFDJJGKEH0RR4HSBEY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use the already mentioned Flippy when I'm on the couch, and this contraption when I'm at my desk: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077CDNWWL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I like to use this thing with a big, heavy book because the clips are helpful in terms of keeping those first and last few pages down. (The clips are flexible and have a soft rubber tip so they don't damage the page.) Someone in here recommended it a while back and I like it a lot.
(Note: links are just for reference not my specific recommendation)
Those are the two most common recommendations on this sub. I like the lap desk. N
I had same issue until I bought a flippy, can easily read on my lap now.
