One year ago you told me what you wanted to achieve in 2018 and I said I would message you to see how you got on. Today is the day!
Your goal was:
> My new year's resolution is to start waking up a little earlier each day. Seems very reasonable but it's hard to do once you get into a habit/lifestyle. Resolutions are hard to stick to. Just bought this sweatshirt as a little motivation. https://teespring.com/2018-is-my-year-hoodie

At the beginning of 2017 you told me your New Year's Resolutions and I said I'd message you in a year to see how you got on. Here goes!
Your resolutions were:
> 2017 Goals: > > 1) Maintain current day job > > 2) Develop a proper side hustle > > 3) Watch 2 movies per week from the list below (only films I have not seen): > > https://letterboxd.com/ayric/list/roger-eberts-35-40-rated-movies/by/release-earliest/page/1/ > > 4) Get better at backgammon, enough to play in a live tournament without getting embarrassed > > Alright, that's it. Thanks u/kashmir See you in a year.
I bought someone a desktop calendar for Christmas that had a new word for every day to learn that might interest you!
Well, I did kill it at my job-- hard enough that I was offered (headhunted for) a new job , which I accepted. I moved across the country and started last month!
My goal was 1 post per week on the Instagram account, which I surpassed. I think I'm going to shutter that account and go back to a single one-- dealing with two is a hassle.
BJJ has been good this year. I got my blue belt in July, and feel much more confident in my closed guard and passing game. Still plenty to work on. Unfortunately, did not do so well on the injury side of things-- right knee has something going on right now.
A friend recommended the KonMarie method for organizing, and I used it to great effect this year. Check it out: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing

Exactly one year ago, I asked what you wanted to achieve by 31st Dec 2016 and I said I would message you to see if you achieved it. Well, today is the day!
Your goal was:

(Looking at Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) > EDIT: someone teach me how to properly format yikes > > > >
> lower back issue
