I'm on my 3rd term for the CIS/networking degree and word of advise, do NOT take Ron Christensen for CIS121. Horrible instructor. Since it's one of those low level CIS classes that are just basic computer concept, they (PCC admin) seem to hire anyone to teach them. Often time, like in the case of Ron Christensen, they are 'older' and are not "IT" types. They only know, what they learned (years ago) and teach that. It was a frustrating experience, but I ended up getting a B. Here is his rate my professor, all the negative comments I can attest, are true.
I generally take classes at Sylvania but this term I have classes at OIT and a Web class through PCC. BTW KarmaSprite rate my professor is pretty solid for PCC instructors.
I STRONGLY recommend that you get a “coloring book” for biology courses, particularly for cell biology.
I took the course 498 years ago at UC Berkeley and used this coloring book:

Got an A but wouldn’t have if I hadn’t used the coloring book. I used colored pencils and color-coded what groups of colors referred to (reds, greens, blues, etc). When exam time came, I‘d often close my eyes and visualize the colors and diagrams.
Granted, I’m a very visual learner...
Before you begin coloring, I recommend that you come up with some kind of color-coding scheme.
BTW—I still have the book. The Cell. It’s come in handy to refresh my memory related to COVID 19.
