Yes. As you can see from the link below, Valkor acquired over 15,000 acres of SITLA land in February of this year in Asphalt Ridge, Utah. That’s equivalent in size to Manhattan. They are simply adding more land to their arsenal.
The report outlines Kingsdale confirming that just shy of 146millon shares have been tendered as of the 31st of January, which is around 18% of the current rounded 800millon outstanding shares.
In all honesty with the boards recommendation and statement they will be tendering too, I would have thought that the percentage would have been much higher being so late in the game. Makes me wonder why so little shares are being tendered and who are holding and why. I knew there would be those that held out or only partially tendered, but I wouldn't of thought that figure would be over 80% of holders, especially given the mass acceptance and constant reems of "I'm tendering". It certainly feels like the minority have been the most vocal on tendering where the majority have been silently resistant in the background.
The quote from the report says:
"Kingsdale Advisors (“Kingsdale”), the Depositary and Information Agent in respect of the Offer, has advised the Offeror that, as of 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on January 31, 2022, a total of approximately 144,606,386 Common Shares had been validly tendered and not properly withdrawn."
Those who ask for source read it in full. This specific part is under the heading:
"Offer Remains Open for Acceptance by Petroteq Shareholders; Directors and Officers of Petroteq are Expected to Tender Shares to Offer"
