You can try out The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt. It looks similar and is IMO a fantastic ship combat game. Their second game is unfortunately not quite as good, but this one is very enjoyable.
Loads of great options already mentioned in this thread. If you want something a little different, check out Pirates of Pensacola, which is about secret populations descended from old-timey pirates living on the fringes of modern society.
I'd also recommend Rediker's Villains of All Nations: Atlantic Pirates in the Golden Age if you haven't read it already. It provides an important perspective on the conditions that bred and drove piracy.
