That's tough. Conspiracy beliefs are virtually unshakable because they are deceptions that feel like revelations--people believe the wool is being lifted from their eyes when it is actually being pulled over them. Here's a couple things that might help to understand and deal with it:
read cheeruphumanity's advice.
> I'm not reading through an entire book that I 100% guarantee won't help your case.
Yeah. Sure. Why would the seminal text that created the very ideas and foundation of Captialism help in a conversation of Captialism. /s
> If it's the "foundation of economics," then why in the world is it nowhere online?
WOW, you went to a black school...
I’m from Mississippi, I grew up in the oldest black community in the state (a historical district), 1,500 feet away from 3 sites of the most notable racial incidents, have lived in West Dallas, I’ve been to both private & public schools, have worked in political education/reform for over a decade, lead a private curriculum development team under the XQ Project, have given speeches on CRT in front of state & local school boards, I’ve spoken to white & black supremacists , & have read the full CRT collection starting with Delgado’s original book.
You’re outranked here.
The entire premise is everything you do & everyone you meet (including you) is racist.
The ACTUAL book that is being useful to create complete documentation of the full history of America is Beyond Conversations About Race: A Guide for Discussions With Students, Teachers, and Communities (How to Talk About Racism in Schools and Implement Equitable Classroom Practices)
>Fascism did not bring them out of financial ruin, the west pumping money into West Germany before, during, and after the war did.
Wait is this actually the extent of your understanding of what institutional health means?
Because a rigorous and trusted news media is very much an important democratic institution
And if you want to destroy democratic institutions, weakening the ones I listed and making them political or making them your own personal bodies of power when they’re meant to be independent is how you do that. Lmfao that doesn’t mean he’s depleting his own power???
Trump has really weakened our democratic institutions and yeah I agree he wasn’t that good because he’s a fucking idiot. If someone smarter was in his place we’d be in a different situation
Anyways if you want to learn more about the concept of democratic institutional health i recommend this reading by renowned economist daron acemoglu:

Get yourself a set of percentile dice and roll them whenever you see a statistic. Compare with the statistic you're looking at. Does Biden have a 74% chance of winning the presidential election? Roll the dice until you get over 74%. Get an idea of what a 1 in 4 chance feels like.
Now you have a better feel for how statistics work. Polls are accurate - it's your expectations that need adjusting.
