This video seems to do a decent job explaining how to do it from beginning to end. https://youtu.be/xHW4F0W15PI
I also have a 2013 Prius C one and after watching this, I ordered the switch on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00QVBTKH6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HSFQW3Y9GFXETSTSR1ED) and I bought the wiring at Walmart (I can’t find a link right now but it was about $10).
I replaced my low beams with these LEDs and it was very easy process. The low beams are still not great, but it’s definitely an improvement, adding more light on the sides at night and making my high beams even brighter. The high beams were already good (DRL fine too), so I see no reason to replace those until they go out.
I use one like this that is mounted in the CD Player slot. It's the most secure mount I've EVER used. I've had it for over 2 years and it's never fallen off the dash
I have an '18 C. I believed the salesman when he told us those plastic roof rails were actually roof racks, and could support a crossbar. That would have been a deal-killer had I learned that before actually trying to purchase said roof rails.
So I looked around for something that would work anyway, and never decided on a kit like thule or something since it would be an expensive trial. But we needed space for camping gear, and bought this because it was cheap:
What I learned along the way is that those things that attach to the inside rail of your door work pretty well. If I ran into a roof rail system that attached the same way, I would buy it.
