Some churches sell ad space on the back of their weekly bulletin. Some groups have their own hall/meeting bldg. & you could offer to do a reduced PM for them. The NextDoor app I see is available in Canada. Not sure how big it is in Canada but a lot people here ask for referrals. If one of your customers refers you it’s best but you can also offer to look @ someone’s system or give an estimate if you monitor it. You may also want to read up on “Guerrilla Marketing” techniques. I was thinking there was a book that discussed these techniques for specifically for HVAC but could not locate the name of it. This HVAC Marketing Book did come up but I have not read it. Has some good reviews
Word of mouth/referrals are free & best advertising. Let your circle of friends, family, church, neighbors, civic groups, etc know you have gone into business and watch things take off slowly but surely. Don’t be tempted by RNC (resi new construction) & HWC’s. Also recommend this book.
Most boards I've come across really don't appreciate and are sensitive to anything above 27-28 VAC. Edit: Nice kit I bought on Amazon for similar situations. Elegoo 17 Values 1% Resistor Kit Assortment, 0 Ohm-1M Ohm (Pack of 525) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072BL2VX1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_q2k.AbW3C1F4A
Found it, I think.. The "Dual cap tester" I'd never use it or recommend it, but here it is nonetheless.
Supco MFD10 Digital Capacitor Tester with LED Display, 0.01 to 10000mF Range, 5% Accuracy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LDF97U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ktkzDbMJVV6G1
Edit: Not it as it turns out. But interesting nonetheless
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXPS2UC - it's called Rain Defender cuz it resists rain pretty good. Been using this jacket for years and years.
Looks like a better deal than the Rothco one. http://www.amazon.com/Rothco-Mechanics-Brass-Zipper-Olive/dp/B000BFJE8S/ref=sr_1_3?s=power-hand-tools&ie=UTF8&qid=1455145936&sr=1-3&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A2797684011
Your bag is old school typical Army mechanics bag. :)
