Just saw the video on engadget and your comment on /r/arduino.
Interesting concept. Sounds ideal for prototyping an automation platform with only the PC side to worry about. Python is a nice touch in that respect... but having the other choices definitely makes me think of a possible prototype to small scale production transition.
I also love the website. Each "brick" or "bricklet" has its own page with a very intuitive layout. Features, Description, Technical Specs, Resources... it's all there. I guess that's the German attention to detail :-D
