This is a bit out of left field, but I use a tool called Obsidian.md
It's a markup editor, but it can basically do everything Scrivener can do, but also do things like create connections, wiki entries, links within itself, etc. There's a bunch of plugins too.
I switched to it after the sync between my two computers on Scrivener crashed and I lost a whole book. The markdown files it creates are basically .txt files which can be read by anything, rather than Scrivener's proprietary software.
Oh, and it's free.
Hello, my name is Elle and I write contemporary romance set in French American towns where French culture and traditions are celebrated (sort of a wink to my French heritage).
I usually write mysteries/thrillers, but I caught the romance bug during the pandemic. There's something so comforting about romance. I write sweet romance under the pseudonym "Elle French".
I have uploaded my first romance on Amazon Vella (link below). If you are interested in reading, the first 3 chapters are free and Amazon gives you free tokens to read up to chapter 15 for free. I would love your feedback if you have any (and book reviews if you are inclined to do so : )
Cheers
You could also use the subtitle line for Amazon to add a description, some authors do that! It'd look like this:
A Heart of Gold: A (adjective) novel
But I'm not sure how that'll look with the series still attached. May be too much.
I used a tagline for one of mine if you want to check out how that looks: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/gp/product/B09PJQQHM9/ref=dbs_a_def_awm_bibl_vppi_i2
You have a great day too!
I've released a new book this month! It's a contemporary romance/somewhat office/somewhat taboo/with some suspense and I never thought I'd publish it. It's the first book I wrote during lockdown in 2020 just to see if I could finish something, and I finally dared to tidy it up and give my lovely editor a go at it. You can check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B09PJQQHM9/?pf_rd_r=KJD950Z6VA0JPSBHBP7J&pf_rd_p=8722478c-d6c3-4cb0-9a76-50fb235e617d&pd_rd_r=7f823ef2-e675-45dd-9f2c-80bc5b20bd38&pd_rd_w=axE7A&pd_rd_wg=Kr752&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m

Also! I learned how to use Canva to make covers that don't need a paperback wrap yet. Now I've got like five novella covers that I'll slowly fill over the course of the year, and the rest of the month is mostly marketing.
Do you know about Take Off Your Pants! By Libbie Hawker? It's a plotting book about creating character-driven stories, which I think has real relevance for romance.

I'm super pleased to tell you peeps that my second novel, Moontied, has gone live this weekend! If you're into shifters and witches, you can check it out here if you want: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B09DW88GSY/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=moontied&qid=1633365648&sr=8-1
There's also a tiny amount of buzz on Goodreads, which I'm really happy for! This is the first book of mine I did actual marketing for, and it definitely paid off.
Furthermore, my debut novel is now also available as a paperback! (For an egregious price, because capitalism or something? Thanks Amazon.)
I just posted my paranormal romance on Kindle Unlimited 🥰 Link is here
My PNR Moontied - Witches of Ridgewood is up for pre-order 💜 I've been nursing this plot for a few years, and I finally got to realise it.
