I really like the Day Bright lamp on Amazon from Sunrise Sensations. It's a 10,000 LUX full spectrum lamp.

When I bought mine, it was $140 but I see it's now $230. It looks like there are more reasonably priced copy-cat versions available on Amazon, probably worth comparing!
You can try doing homework and stuff in front of a therapy light like this one...they're like $25 and worth a try. I use one and feel better, notice I feel worse if I skip a day. therapy light
This is a link to the exact one I have. It looks like it's not available anymore, but it's easy to find similar ones! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVTZPY5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_9ZND37G0ZPTSZ21KM2NG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You could build it for roughly $400-$500 if you use a 200W LED, eg the studio light that I posted above. It already includes the electronics and heat sink and has excellent CRI. You don’t need to mount the light on the holder that comes with the parabolic reflector, you can just put it on a separate mount, that way there’s no weight restriction. Also, you can use plexiglass and make a smaller tank. Instead of the parabolic reflector, you could use some cheap fresnel lenses such as https://www.amazon.com/Magnifying-Pieces-Magnifier-Fresnel-Reading/dp/B07YSKKK71/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=magnifying%2Bsheet%2B24%2Binch&qid=1637080498&qsid=140-5264504-2448729&sr=8-13&sres=B07G55FSPX%2CB077W95VHB%2CB00P0B26OC%2CB016FP...
Btw, something that I found to produce really great daylight is this studio light intended for photography Neewer 200Ws Dimmable LED Video Light, 5600K Daylight Balanced Video Light, 21000LM Continuous Lamp with Bowens Mount for YouTube Vine Portrait Photography Video Lighting Studio Interview RA 95+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RKSCXJ5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RXSCJKHC8ZFZF8EGAJH5 I noticed that the high brightness coupled with high CRI really help me!
I think you could use any similar setup but for the record I'm using the following equipment. The only thing that's special about the switch is that it is dimmable so the lights don't switch on all at once- I used the phone App to program in 5 different levels of increasing brightness every 5 minutes until it is at 100%

I've been using a big medical grade light for years from Northern light and its highly effective. Its old and bulky but it works.
I've also got a small Happy lamp from Verilux on my desk but it doesn't work as well. I use it to maintain mood during the day.
My wife will notice me groggy and unresponsive and can tell if I used the big lamp that morning.
This is the one I have at my work Carex Day-Light Classic Plus Bright Light Therapy Lamp - 10,000 LUX - Sun Lamp Mood Light https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00PCN4UVU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_YE59NP9391YJXJNCBF3J
And I think this was the one I bought my mother

Here’s close to what I use! First one is the smart plug and the second is the heater. Since the plug turns the outlet power off to the space heater I just leave it flicked on. Also use this plug because it comes with an app you can program for each day, as well as a button to just turn the outlet on whenever!

Had this beast for years. Never needed anything else once I started using it.
