I'll be working to get a release of ShambaTimes out in the next couple of weeks which will have the updated schedule in it. I'm not home long enough this week to finish it, so I'm aiming for no later than the 17th.
For those that don't know, it's an Android scheduling app for Shambs. Lots of new cool features in this release, can't wait to get it out!

Amazon or any store that sells camping gear, Canadian Tire, etc.
I just got this one for camping: https://www.amazon.ca/The-Coleman-Company-2000014865-5-Gallon/dp/B0009PUT20
Seems pretty solid all around except the shower nozzle doesn't actually stay in a closed position... which is kinda dumb but you only are supposed to hang them up when actually using them and it was $10.
I am not expecting to actually use it as a shower at Shambhala because there will likely be nowhere to put it for that, but it'll be nice to have some warm/hot water available without having to turn on the camp stove.
I just got one of the little $10 camp stoves from Amazon that screw onto a jetboil fuel tank. I've used my friend's jetboil plenty and the $10 one is just as simple and fast but a fraction of the price. We were boiling over a liter of water in like 2-3 minutes.

Or you can get one with a pot for like $35.

Thanks for that save.
So yes, definitely anyone looking to join the group, just PM me your phone number after downloading and installing Signal (iOS version here, android version here). It works similarly to WhatsApp or various other messaging applications, but uses encryption and is generally quite secure. While it does use data, it uses very minimal amounts of it.
Cool! I've updated ShambaTimes for Android with the change.
iOS will probably get approved by Apple tomorrow.

Also if you have Android phone get this App!!!

It has all the stage times and you can set reminders for sets you don't want to miss.

That is the guy i have.. Its not amazing but it works good enough for camping!
2019 There was a vendor that would sell you a battery bank ( IIRC a guy in my camp said it was $25 ) you can then exchange it as many times as you wanted with a fully charged one.
As a added bonus, they go to most festivals, and you pay a "recharge" fee of like $10? to be able to exchange it at that festival.

Please don't quote me though as I bring my own battery pack and worst case if i run out of juice I use my truck, but I know that it was quite popular for a lot of people.

From my experience if you would like to purchase a battery pack, Ankor is the way to go

That will give you between 5 - 8 charges depending on your phone.
As long as it’s not a glass bottle! If it is glass, these perfume travel cases are a great substitute. Super cheap too. https://www.amazon.ca/SUMAJU-Atomiser-Fragrance-Portable-Refillable/dp/B07P414G74/ref=asc_df_B07P414G74/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=341658746119&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3509076069026719395&hvpone=&hvptwo=&a...
Thanks for checking the videos out, these aren't affiliate links, but just to make it easy.

They all work pretty well.
If you have amazon prime, I would order them now

best $29 I ever spent
I find a lot of value in covering my tent with these (shiny side out) to reflect the sun and heat. I usually sleep during the hottest part of the day so this helps immensely, even in the (mostly) shady shambhalodging bassics tents. Bring string and tape to affix them.

I have this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00IDA694A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Great battery life, rugged, durable, water resistant. Big fan of the sound quality from it too. I throw it in my bag when I go snowboarding and it takes a battering and still good.
I'll provide some different input since the thread seems to predominantly be JBL - I have really really enjoyed my Sony Xb30. They updated the model and light show slightly since I bought it so you'll get a new version, and the sound quality is really good... the bass is HEAVY. Plus, you get a color changing light ring and strobes on the side! It's a kickass speaker and it is hefty enough to bring the sound but light and portable enough to be tossed in a backpack. It's only $120! I love it.
I swear by Ankor, I don't leave home without it.
depends, for a smaller tent i have this

I picked it up for $70, if it doesn't make it back I won't cry, but it works damn well.. also super light, i've got it on my hiking backpack and I've gone on long hikes with it.

Larger tents, I normally go Coleman or what ever is on sale with amazon. BUT they are also a lot heavier.
What about Dubs?
I want earplug that safely protect me from Shambhala sound but also want to retain quality/hear voices of people around me? Is Dubs good at both? If not what is a good alternative.
I mentioned this in my post, but I've found Dubs to be better than the Earasers at half the price. Earasers are still good, but for half price I could get something more comfortable with similar quality.
