I have an older model at home with no computer:
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Technogym-Bike-Spinning-Bicycle-Flywheel/dp/B095JW2DRG
Am pretty happy with it but not a fan of those handel grips, but I got it dirty cheap off of craigslist.
If money was not an issue I would get myself an original spinning® bike, had it at my old gym and it was the best I've used.
Thank you so much for the response! Sounds like the adapters are the best bet. Are these the same as the ones you linked to?
I don’t know about the bikes you are asking about, but I ordered this one (linked below), which is $299.99 as I write with a clickable coupon for $40 off. I was able to assemble it by myself (average strength woman). I did not put on the pedals that came with it and ordered combo SPD/toe cage pedals (which were unfortunately about $70) so that I could use my bike shoes and my husband could use regular sneakers.
No complaints from me (and I’ve had it about a year), and I used to have a Spinner NXT in my house, which was a heck of a lot more expensive, even secondhand.
Anyway, this is what I bought: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07S3YWSNM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
SPD/toe cage combo pedals, now around $60 (the ones I bought aren’t for sale anymore, but Amazon recommended this one instead by the same company): https://smile.amazon.com/Venzo-Fitness-Exercise-Compatible-Pedals/dp/B07NKFPGPC/ref=dp_fod_1?pd_rd_i=B07NKFPGPC&psc=1

Depends on your budget but sounds like you''ll want to go all in and get something top of the line. The Schwinn/Bowflex is often recommended. Keep in mind you'll also need to get a pair of clipless pedals and shoes to use on the bike.
After a lot of research I went with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q2697YN/ I'm able to put a laptop or tablet on the handlebars the way they're designed and workout along with any app or videos online. Seemed like the best overall value on a budget and achieve the closest thing to a Peloton. I also have a smart TV right next to it so didn't need to pay to get a screen with my bike or anything.
Honestly, any of the 300 dollar "cheap" ones on Amazon are probably just as good as some 2000 dollar bike.
It's a bike. It's a metal frame with a flywheel. hard to mess up.

Anyways, I've had a PyHigh Flywheel Bike for a few years and it's been great.
This thing here:

Although really if you just search for "Spin bike" on amazon you'll find plenty of good choices. The important thing is pick one with a Flywheel. I can't explain it but they "feel" better to ride, more like you're riding an actual bike on the road.
Thanks for all replies. I ended up buying the Sunny Health SF-B1805; according to several comparison reviews it was the one that came closest to the resistance level of the peloton bike. Now I am undecided about the cadence sensor. The one from Wahoo seems like the way to go but I am also looking at the moofit which is half the price.
Comments or suggestions will be much appreciated.
I bought this one late last year (Pooboo brand, but it also says L NOW on it, so I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking at). I got the blue/black one, which is way more expensive than the yellow/black one right now. It was the opposite when I bought mine, so I purchased blue/black because it was less expensive.
I switched the pedals out for SPD pedals that also have a toe cage, as my husband doesn’t have bike shoes, but I’m happy with it overall. (You may be able to find pedals cheaper, but you can use the specs on the one I bought to ensure that you’re buying the right size/length.) Bike shoes with SPD clips are pretty common in the indoor cycling world. Peloton’s clips are different and, I believe, proprietary, so if you have Peloton shoes, SPD pedals are not compatible.
A few years ago, I had a Spinner NXT, which is a commercial bike, that I eventually sold, and the bike I bought last year is surprisingly good compared to that. We’ll see over the long term, but so far, I don’t think a used NXT that was double the price of this one is worth the money.
I don’t pay attention to the electronic thing it comes with. I stick my iPad on there and do Apple Fitness+ workouts. I’m experienced enough in Spinning that I don’t need a cadence sensor, but that’s easy enough to add.
First you should make sure the bike is in working order as it looks in pretty bad shape. Take off the plastic cover on the right side and make sure the chain/belt works properly. You will probably need a dry lubricant like WD40 Dry Lube with PTFE to lubricate moving parts.
Disassemble as much of the bike that needs polishing as possible but make sure you can put it back together. If you cannot disassemble a part then do the best you can with a cloth and polish. Get some metal polish that can be found at any autoparts store or online ( and I recommend a brush that you can attach to a drill like Mothers Power Cone 360. The brush will make it much easier. To remove rust from screws and bolts use WD40 and a rag or toothbrush.
I am not sure what those brake pads are make of but the pads may need to be replaced. They are most likely leather.

These shoes, which are much more comfortable than most spin shoes: TIEM Slipstream - Indoor Cycling Shoe, SPD Compatible https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GRGNY4T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_nZA-FbKHF5WQK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I needed a wrench to remove the pedal and put on the new ones. To add the clips to the sneakers, which came with the pedals, you’ll need a little grease and a hex wrench.
Yes, it’s standard. I just replaced my pedals. I bought these Wellgo WPD-E003 Shimano SPD Compatible Spin Bike Pedals https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IM2JZ1M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_FSQ5Fb5H67712?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I bought a pair of TIEMs as well. I’m on day 2 and LOVE them. I’d been using toe cages for the last year.
I bought this one, which is currently $260 after $40 off in yellow. It’s sturdy and good— and I used to have a Spinner NXT, if that means anything to you. I’ve never done Peloton, but I’ve been pretty happy with the Fitness+ cycling classes so far!
That bike came with pedals with toe cages, so I spent another $70 to buy SPD pedals so I could use my bike shoes. (It also has toe cages so that my husband can use the bike.) And of course today I happened to see combo pedals on Amazon for like $50 :(
That’s not an affiliate link, for the bike, btw. Buy what works for you!
Yea true. I only mention it because she was thinking of getting one before she rode it, and accidentally avoided a $$$ mistake. She ended up buying this one right as the lockdown was happening so it was only like $150, and she really likes how it rides. It's super basic, but she can haul ass on it, and turn it up pretty high if she needs to.
Guess I'm just saying, sensors are great, but try to make sure she'll like how it rides.
Good question! I ordered these two from amazon and will be testing them out this weekend. One is a seat cover, and the other is an entire seat replacement.

Love'em and never turning back.
What kind of socks do you wear?
Also, you may want to go back to your normal size in the spin shoe. Making your shoe longer is not really going to help with swelling. And I've always been told that cycling shoes need to fit snugly - I think because you don't want your feet moving around in them.
