I used regular ratchet straps as alluded to by a few posts here. I have it tight, like you can't even slip a flat head between the strap and the cooler (i am exaggerating.. a bit).
Yet.. the damn thing still slides back to the wall.
Here's what I am going to add:
Or something like this. These matts (any rubber or silicon matt) will absolutely prevent slipping. Then strap it down to prevent any tipping.
BTW, I just bought a barely used 2021 Mantis.. used just enough that I have a few things to fix, like how the stupid toilet won't pump water. but that's another thread for another day

Got one of these a couple of years ago to charge up the various teardrops I was renting. Got a 2nd one to keep with my truck. Been really happy with them.
> The reminder about the Zamp and its reverse polarity is a very good point. Ended up having to make a custom cable for that which is not difficult but definitely something to get right.
Where is this documented? I was digging around on the Taxa site and downloaded the Mantis docs but don't recall seeing this.
I'm having them put in the Lion batteries and have controllers for each of the folding solar panels I have.
I ordered this and an extension:

The main water lines are what is considered 3/8” (at least in the realm of pex in the US). 3/8” pex fits the existing connections. I swapped out a number of lines with 3/8” pex and connections with some Sharkbite ProLock fittings like these: SharkBite PL0213J6 Push-to-Connect Elbow, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DK5X53G Sharkbite appears to be part of the same company that makes the John Guest fittings that came in our Mantis. 3/8” stuff hasn’t been easy to find locally, though. Have had to order and there are limited options. I replaced the 1/2” threaded female to push fits on my Truma water pressure regulator with a 1/2” pex barb, a small piece of 1/2” pex, and then could reduce that to 3/8” (all using pex clamps). The reducer from 1/2” to 3/8” was one of the few 3/8” options I could find locally.

Clean residue off the aluminum, a bit of this on the rubber and a bit on the trailer, let it get tacky, then press into place. Painter tape or duct tape to hold in place overnight.
I ordered this one off Amazon. Not a RotopaX. Wasn't aware of them. Looks like a cool option though. Thanks for linking me.
Just finished V1 of my fiscally conservative Mantis cover :-P. Cost so far: about $80 on Amazon. Already have some ideas for improvements (some clips / tensioners to make attaching and removing a bit quicker).

Cord was just stuff I had lying around.
Mattress replacement
We did not like the overly firm and segmented mattresses the Mantis came with and found this mattress that fit perfectly.

We still store stuff underneath. Just not anything that needs to be accessed regularly and can be reached from the front or back fairly easily. We never set the bed up as a bench seat.
