Yes, you nailed, I love big statements! I would definitely be open to making ANY kind of cape. I make custom capes all the time. You can schedule time with me to discuss your cape dreams here if you're interested. Otherwise I often post capes on working on here and will share any new versions that are perhaps more subdued.
Ah, the Hazard 4 Poncho. Although it’s “technically” a “poncho,” I like the cape look too.
I’m actually in the military and want one of these, both for style and for effectiveness. When you’re stuck out in a pouring rain, it’s sure nice. Maybe I’ll buy one.
For those inclined, here it is on Amazon...

Just found on Amazon some men’s cardigans that have been elongated in the back that resemble capes but with sleeves and pockets.

If anyone want to rock their cape aesthetic at work, I highly recommend this long blazer/cape from Amazon. I can guarantee you’ll be able to hear the imperial march as you go about your work day.
I got it as a Christmas gift actually.
This looks to be the same thing though, from Amazon.
This is available on Amazon. My only complaint is that there is no button or snap at the neck, and it zips from the bottom up. I added a toggle at the neck that lets me keep it closed up top, but still open down below.
this one looks like a good transition piece
