I don't use the little razors, but honestly I did not realize how fuzzy my whole face was until I bought one of these little hair removal spring thingies on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Spring-Facial-Remover-Threading-Women/dp/B085J1F3RR/
You just roll this all over your face. Some areas can be a little tender, but I'd rather feel a little tender than have a fuzzy upper lip.
When you remove the fuzz from your face, the light reflects better off your skin and makes you glow. It also makes makeup application really nice and smooth, if you're into wearing makeup.
Moisturizer makes a huge difference. Figure out your skin type (oily, dry, combination) and find a moisturizer that works for you. I tried a couple different face washes and moisturizers before I found what worked for me. I’ve been using the same products for years now. I recently added a retinol serum that I really like and have been using for around two years.
aww thank you so much! :) for the style of my hair, i just blow dried my hair using revlon's one step tbh!

i'm glad you mentioned the makeup because i 100% need to work on my makeup. i'm actually not wearing eyeliner (idk how to apply eyeliner), but i am wearing lots of mascara. when i do wear eyeliner, i'll get a dark brown one. do you have any eyeliner reccs for eyeliner beginners? i do need to buy some lashes - the ardell ones you listed look beautiful. thank you so much for the recommendation :)

i'll also look into a lip tint! which product(s) do you recommend for this?

are you talking about this kind of heatless big rollers?
My pleasure!! This Etude house one in 03 gray-brown is by far my favorite eyebrow pencil ever––natural, looks like my eyebrows just grew that way, not at all clownish or makeup-y. It's cheap, but I get it in the states via Amazon. There are sellers on eBay I think who will ship that one to the UK (it's just a hassle because the shipping ends up being way more expensive than the pencil), but here is a Tonymoly one from a uk shop that looks promising. Maybe you could get gray and gray-brown and experiment?
love that you are committing to a long term routine. just wanted to advise against diy dyeing/cutting hair. It's really worth it to invest in a good cut/dye job and if a dye job is out of budget, natural hair color is the best/healthiest option.
for teeth, whitening gel + mouth guard/tray is alot more affordable than strips you can even get them at the dollar store. also, regardless of whether you use strips or gel, combine it with a whitening light. the effect will be much stronger. If you pay an extra 10 bucks you can get a cordless one from amazon and just whiten your teeth while you shower.
1 soda per day is still alot, though i get that you have an addiction. would try to replace with sparkling fruit drink and only drink soda once or twice a week. this will also help with your weight loss.
here’s some tips!
clean up your eyebrows (i recommend telling ur barber/hair cutter to clean them up for you),
get a haircut like this, a shorter fade up top would look better on you, in my opinion.
start a skincare routine if you haven’t yet. the 3 most important products are: cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. For your morning routing: wash face with water only, apply moisturizer to damp face and then finish by applying sunscreen. For nighttime routine: wash your face with Cerave gentle cleanser, then apply Cerave Daily Moisturizer.
I think a pair of glasses could look great and it would help change up your look. Some simple black frames like these are cheap to try them out and see how u feel!
Cologne! Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford are great ones.
Not sure how you feel about your clothing style but some new clothes never hurt anyone. Stick to the basics: blue jeans, black jeans, pair of slacks. black button up, white button up. white t-shirt, black t-shirt, brown t-shirt. denim jacket, black denim jacket, bomber jacket, leather jacket. converse, vans, dr martens. Mix and match.
Hope this helped give you some ideas!
You can dye your brows and it will help frame your face. It will actually make a huge difference. This stuff is great: Godefroy Hair Color Kit for Spot Coloring Great For Small Areas Covers Up Gray Hairs Assorted Colors Available 4 Applicaion Kit, Light Brown, 1 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T4GMJ2D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_V7WTMZDY8E7W98NH06KZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. It lasts about 2-3 weeks and is worth it imo.
I have to ask is your hair color natural and if so I would chop off the braid and go shorter while donating 10 inches of it. You got a cute nose and amazingly gorgeous ears should with a shorter hair cut show them off more. Love the sweater in last picture dress more like that with more dresses, jeans but stay away from ripped ones and skirts. Shoes Oxford heels, Oxford shoes like Taylor Swift wears, boots 👢 lace up and rider tall boots. Keds sneakers, flats, sketchers, heels like this https://www.amazon.com/DADAWEN-Leather-Classic-Platform-Oxfords/dp/B085CMWX81/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_4/147-7108801-2265339?pd_rd_w=8gOct&pf_rd_p=881f787e-80f7-4adf-b6b9-19b2f4f5835a&pf_rd_r=DWNPTC36PQ78YT8Y6W64&pd_rd_r=aa3927bf-292d-4b5b-a428...
I toss or donate an Ugg’s boots, stiletto heels 👠, wedges, cowgirl boots, converse shoes, vans, white sneakers, slip on shoes and boat/deck shoes.
I hope my opinions helped some and keep us posted on your progress.
In the third picture you look like a nervous girl that you don’t know if this look is for you. First the choker isn’t you so toss those out. 2nd skirt needs to be right above the knees. 3rd Chop hair to around chin. Beautiful dimples style of hair rocks just shorter. 4th the boots got to go they are too harsh and you feet will sweat 😓 in them you look much better with red, black van sneakers, Oxford heels, Oxford shoes and clogs and different lace up boots like these

Wear some cute dresses and flats 🥿 and chunky heels not note than 2 inches tall.
You already have a very good base (nice skin, pretty features) - you just got to zhuzh it up! If you’ve never worn makeup before, try some light makeup like a light blush, tinted lip gloss, and a light swash of champagne eyeshadow over the lids. A bit more difficult, but filling in the brows would make a huge impact. Personally I find using a light hand with an eyebrow pencil the easiest brow method. You already have a great eyebrow shape, so just follow the same lines. If you don’t mind, I’ve taken the liberty to do a quick sample here . I just colored in your existing features for an idea. Look into K-beauty tutorials on YouTube. Asian makeup is generally softer and you won’t feel like there is such a dramatic change if you’ve never worn makeup before.
Your hair has a cute trendy bob shape. Try styling it by making some loose waves.
I agree with the other user who suggested a wrap dress. Wrap dresses are flattering for most body shapes and one with a deep V would give it that wow factor you’re looking for. Something similar to this would be cute.
Finally, just go and have fun! Being confident is really the biggest look improvement there is! Enjoy your reunion!
This is very late but chewing gum, especially masseter gum and mewing can make a big difference to your jaw, falim gum i would recommend and looking up dr mike mew on YouTube for his series on mewing https://www.amazon.com/Falim-100-Chewing-Gum-Damla-Sakizli/dp/B005GR1WO0
I mix the two together, just a few drops of rosemary to every ~2 oz of castor oil. I use this: 3 pack 10ml Empty Mascara Tube with Eyelash Wand, Eyelash Cream Container Bottle with Funnels Transfer Pipettes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V1TLRGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZKJFM6M54ZV51DJ1BPZ3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
oh also! i forgot to add, i totally understand that getting a new haircut may be kind of daunting and a big change, so i definitely recommend buying some clip-in bangs to experiment with. they look very realistic and are cheaper than getting a haircut you may potentially be unhappy with! heres a link if you wanna check it out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G4LN9HK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0WWTGAQC2GXY4CMZBPR3?psc=1
Brow shaping and grooming is always a good start! I’d go to a professional first for initial shaping, then you can maintain them yourself with a good pair of tweezers.
Also look into a clear brow gel or a tinted product like Glossier’s Boy Brow to brush them up, it really opens your eyes. A good way to look polished even without makeup. 👍
r/SkincareAddiction is great sub to hang out in, and their “About” section has great reading and suggestions for putting together a regular skincare routine.
If you’ve got a bit of upper lip hair, I recommend getting it waxed or using a facial hair creme bleach to lighten it to blonde. My skin is too sensitive for either of those methods, so I use a little trimmer like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009DT39C/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_4pQ4FbYZM4K58
Your lashes are long and pretty but they curl inwards... I’m not a lashes pro but I think there’s a tool to make them curl outwards instead. I also don’t know much about mascara brands but I have a feeling the right kind would make your pretty brown eyes really “pop”. You could go ask over at r/Makeupaddiction for some recommendations.
Hope these helped!
Okay thanks I appreciate the advice!
I don't but I should. I minimized my routine after a really bad breakout and haven't been consistent about wearing facial sunscreen since. Presently I have the Nivea 50 gel sunscreen. I have freckles year-round though, though regardless of how religious I am about avoiding sun exposure.
I've looked into lip filler and a lip flip previously actually! I'd like to get both done at some point but I am afraid of it going wrong and looking ducky as you put it. I might go ahead and schedule a consult with a couple local techs!
I bought this one! But I think any other one would do, there’s some cheaper ones with good reviews.
