I kind of enjoyed the (likely unintentional, but maybe not) shade Matt threw on Ezra's book when he described his book in contrast to the typical "nine chapters of like here, I’m going to convince you this thing is a big problem. And then at the end, there’s this kind of unpersuasive, you know, solutions chapter".
As it turns out, Why We're Polarized has nine chapters of problems and one very short one on solutions. :)
This book was recommended by Sarah Kliff on one of the old episodes, and I'm gonna second it. T.R. Reid's A Fine Mess. Like Kliff, I also closely followed Reid's healthcare reporting during the 2009 healthcare debate, and his round-the-world approach to reporting shines just as great in this book.
