I just wish they did more truck stuff as of late! I need a new antennae topper that ones hardly readable
And for the headlights these are so much better then stock. The pattern looks fine and illuminates well. The brights are GREAT. But I’m in no means a expert at all that. Also I’m in dry ass California so them fogging up hasn’t been a problem

Here’s a link to them just make sure you buy a H4 harness. It was simple to install.
I bought a generic window seal off of Amazon. It fits perfect on my 86. It looks factory and was a lot cheaper. Here’s the link, if you want it.

Nice! Can you share pictures when you have them mounted? I'm looking online and there seems to be a stock 15" wheel for the pickup and the tire sizes they recommend for those are 215/65/15. I think I'll be deciding between your choice and the recommended choice. BTW, did you get hubcentric rings for them? I'm looking at these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JN0MYFG/ref=ox\_sc\_act\_title\_1?smid=A3GMPUWM5FEUA5&psc=1

There is a h4 conversation wiring harness that lets both low and high beam work rn only my low beams work I been to lazy to wire up the extra harness but fairly cheep on Amazon or eBay https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078XV8PL7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2Lu2FbKEEAS9Q
Your lug pattern should be 5x4.5"(114.3) - there are A LOT of vehicles with this lug pattern. You can find 5-lug wheels off 2wd Tacomas, but all the 4wd and 4runners will have 6-lug wheels. 5-lug from the full-size Toyotas isn't the right lug pattern for your truck. Personally I think a lot of the newer 5-spoke Toyota alloy wheels would look good on your generation of pickup - such as the 17" 5-spoke from a 3rd gen Rav4
My 75 Hilux has the same lug pattern, I currently have some 17" Mustang wheels but will be swapping soon to a 15" Jeep turbine wheel
I bought some off Amazon but had to get a separate wiring harness for them because they’re not plug and play. Partsam 5x7 Inch LED Headlights... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WF1217Z?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
i used some foam speaker cups on my 87toyota pu... pretty cheap and easy. i dont think im gonna get really great sound from 4" speakers even with the oem enclosures, altho i did upgrade to some fresh ones that sound a lot better than the paper cones previous to them.
I’ve had this one: EZ (EZ-108) Silver 16mm-1.5... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HTV2IHQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share on my Subaru for 3 years now and never had an issue (you may need a different size). Super convenient and CLEAN! Haven’t had oil spill down my arm or splash out of the pan a single time. I love it. I do not have one on my Toyota because I don’t drive it much and therefore don’t change the oil too often.
The latch set is available off amazon and only requires a screwdriver.
Could probably take the latch out and put some bailing wire between the screw bodies to temporarily wire it shut.
That leak is above the head gasket, so it is not a heat gasket leak. There is also a really easy test kit you can get on Amazon to check for head gasket leaks.

There is several small coolant lines on the top of the engine that could be leaking and cause this. You can see a long on the upper left in this pic.
I paid $48 for mine last summer but prices have come up. Play your cards right and look around (RockAuto maybe) and you might be able to score one for under a hundred bucks.
The metal is pretty thin but even the OEM valances are thin, which is why they’re always beat to hell. So far the bedliner spray treatment I gave it has held up really well.
For what it's worth, I put a pair of these in the back of my '91 2WD to replace the blown shocks I got it with and it handles a yard of dirt like a champ. It's much bouncier when empty but when loaded it handles noticeably better and doesn't sit on the bump stops.
I ended up getting these hubcaps from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CTVBFGL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
They fit perfectly and look great!
I just threw these in my 90 and they work pretty damn good headlights using this adapter
i finally lifted my truck and got some wheels and tires.
still need to do the torsion bars. the adjuster bolt and nuts need to be replaced so, i’m just going to have the alignment shop do that for me when i get it aligned this week.
i’m really happy with it, mind you the tires are a skosch too big up front but the stiffer torsion bar setup + the lift that will come with it should fix that. it’s a lot softer and more comfortable than it was before which is surprising. no issues with rubbing in the rear with the AAL.

Innova does make an OBD I/II scanner that will read them, I had an old camry that it would work on.
It's this cheap universal one It does the trick but the adjustable cup holders kinds suck. It's the only one I could find that fits between the seats and isn't too tall. Don't lean too hard on it though because the staples will get your elbow.
I looked high and low for a set of headlights that didn’t have a bunch of LEDs like most of them do. I still wanted LED but wanted them to look as much as the stock as possible. These were a good compromise. There is a more expensive name brand option but in my opinion these are just as good. And at $85 a pair who cares if they break.

I bought these and have been super happy with them, I don’t know shit about headlight patterns etc but they work for me perfectly and light up what I need. The brights are great in the mountains at night. And I haven’t had any issues with them fogging up etc. super easy install if you go the route of LED makes sure you get a harness RENMAII-LIGHT 1Set 2-Headlight H4 Relay Harness, H4 Headlight Relay Harness H4 Wiring Harness H6054 7x6 6054 Headlight Relay Kit for 95-97 Tacoma 88-9 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089M4DC45/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_Rco1Yd779SJss
This one worked fine for me.
Nope. It’s plug and play.
I got this Hella kit on Amazon and threw the bulbs out that came with it and used Osram Nightbreakers from my personal experience as they’re an exceptional bright and quality built bulb.
You can really use any H4 conversion housing, I just went with Hella as they’re really well made, thick glass, and the beam pattern is a RH drive E-code throw which has a bit better cutoff than DOT. No wiring changes are needed because the plug style for our factory sealed beams are the same as an H4 bulb, and the wattage is the same.
The lights are these and require a relay harness because of weird double negative wiring. The Amazon sellers of the lights were cool and refunded the $25 for the harness. I love these lights, perfect brightness. Can’t say how they do compared to stock, my truck had these shitty aftermarket projector lights that were probably 10-20 years old.
I had to buy one for my Tacoma when I bought it. Yours looks like a 1st gen too right?
Here's the Dorman brand one I bought, and it works perfect and looks just like the OEM one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F4XW3RH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_X4AYEWP31Y2KF8W0JRCB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1q

I did one of these on my 93 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/203290790677
The important part is that it re-used the lines. They changed diameters and thread sizes when the trucks actually switched to R134. Probably affected the threads on the condenser and drier. I flushed, replaced all orings, mostly copied the measurements from the R134 edition of the 3vz and put in 7oz of oil and 27oz of R134. Drops 30F at idle. Haven't driven around too much due to other engine work I have going on, but I'm happy so far.
The vacuum gauge rental at the local auto store were missing orings, so watch out for that. Self filling was very easy. I weighed the bottles before hand and wrote it in sharpie on them so I could figure out how much R134 went in.
I ended up buying this kit since I needed a vacuum pump and was very happy with it - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LBLDZ89
nice. i just got some from amazon.

the parts tree says the bottom one is dif, but i used three of the linked clips, seems good.
how does that work, did someone initiate tha bot on that link or something?
i think th e philips 5x7 led replacements looks pretty cool (online) but $100+ for one is pretty over the top.
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Automotive-Lighting-H6054LED-Applications/dp/B08DDFTVYQ
If you're doing something LED, I might say go with a more quality product like Truck-Lite as others have mentioned https://www.amazon.com/Truck-Lite-27450C-Headlamp/dp/B007ED7HNY
That said, it's entirely personal preference but I find the LED units to look kinda tacky on the classy lines of our trucks, so I went with a Hella H4 conversion and put in better quality Osram Nightbreaker bulbs. With the lights off, the truck looks totally stock, but at night I have fantastic light output with a convenient to replace (and easy to find) H4 bulb.
Having same problem. I just ordered some sealing rubber for $27 from Amazon. Will update with how it works out. No worries, figured that's what you meant. I got this gauge kit and then I got this copper tube kit bc the hose that comes with the gauge is plastic and didn't seem like it would last a while.
why did you not just buy a brand new correct TPS? The OEM toyota ones are still available P/N 89452-20050. You can buy an aftermarket one as well but i have replaced a lot of them over the years. Here is a link to the correct sensor for your 89 22re. the part number is written on the side also.

Hard to diagnose without putting hands on it but I had to clearance my knuckles with new axles. I put a set of rcv’s in my factory front end and had to grind it out more than advertised. I bought something similar to this... https://www.amazon.com/Norton-Snagging-Abrasive-Aluminum-Thickness/dp/B0006NDRG0/ref=zg_bs_2734047011_24?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1VKMPBTXHFBAQMJWDQFQ.
I have no idea how to hyperlink from mobile. I want to say I bought it from the same company I got the axles from and it fits into a standard angle grinder. Made quick work of it.
I installed a fuel pump cutoff in my 87. It’s an inertial type in case you get in a car accident and was relatively easy to install.
Here’s a link to one on amazon. Inertial fuel cut off switch
Installed these on my 94. Super bright on low and high beams. Had to install relay kit, but fairly easy upgrade - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07G31G4VB/ref=cm\_sw\_em\_r\_mt\_dp\_7MDDQRTF9TRT04SZK1QH?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
How cheap do you want to go for headlights?
I have these on my ‘89 crawler truggy. My friends have run them on the street as well.
Your brake lights should be fine with LEDs but the turn signals might need a new flasher or inline resistors to flash at the correct speed.
I use the amazon brand ones. good enough for my needs, and they fit fine with a little trim. for the price, I'm very satisfied

Amazon tells me this will fit. Check for yourself before buying. Only one left and make sure you can return if it doesn’t fit.
Here are the housings :
Here is an hid kit with the needed relay harness :
Go with a 4300-5000k bulb temp for the most effective lighting.
If you remove the door cylinder and ignition cylinder and take them to a good, old fashioned locksmith they can probably remove the broken keys and decode them for you. Then make you new ones.
My old keys wore out and I had this done. I got a nice Toyota blank from Amazon but you don't need to do that if you don't want to.

These are all over amazon and bolt right up. Your bigger issue is going to be a fan.
I know this is a month old, but I just bought and installed these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BWBRDJ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I needed this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XHSFLTZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which you probably want for yours, too.
I love them! Holy shit, it makes a huge difference.
Be sure to properly aim them, so you aren’t the asshole blinding people, but they are amazing, and they look great, too.
This is the one I got, and since amazon, if it sucks for some reason, return it. seat cover
I'll reset the computer and recheck for the code. I did at one point disconnect the AFM while the engine was running and it stalled out. Long story but it was missing the clip that secures it and I was wiggling it to see how secure it is. On rockauto the intake temp sensor comes up as something separate. Sta-lube GL4 or Redline mt-90, both are good for old transmissions and t-cases.
