You know... just a minute ago as I was logging in again, I was thinking about my comment. I literally and honestly thought "I hope I wasn't too harsh with my comment because it presupposes no underlying physical or psychological issues.
Yours is a tough row to hoe. Tough row indeed.
Waterproof mats will indeed help. I wish there were good options for seat covers, too. I've found some... But a toyota parts counter guy told me they don't offer them as an option due to potential interference with airbags.
My sister in law has used cups like this in the past: https://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Miracle-Sippy-Green-Ounce/dp/B00MRZIGVG/ref=asc_df_B00MRZIGVG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309993934465&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17932054001045813088&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hv...
They're not 100% spill proof, but they certainly don't spill the whole drink.

Best to you!
Based on someone's recommendation in Reddit, I went with these ones from 3W and they are awesome.

I have Weathertech mats for my Hyundai Ioniq 5 and I am not impressed with them, as they do not have raised edges.
I also purchased the trunk mat, but I still feel $80 is way expensive for this small piece.
Something like a portable Kodi server on a Raspberry Pi if you're streaming stick adverse.
This would probably work, just get a drive with files on it and plug it in. Western Digital used to have a nice one but it's sunsetted now.
I chose to go the Roku path for now. I looked at setting up a portable plex server or even using a portable Western Digital media drive, but the logistics are a bit too far for my liking.
Congratulations! For All weather Cargo and Trunk mats, I got recommendations for 3W brand and I purchased them for my 2022 XLE last week. I love the fit with raised edges. Trunk Mat at $80 felt little expensive though, but I closed my eyes and purchased it, as I lived their Cargo Mats.
I also changed those terrible lights to LED bulbs across (including brake lights), except for the front row center lights that were soldered and cannot be touched.

I also purchased Motorola MA1 Wireless adapter for Android Auto.
Smart Start is amazing….I’ve owned several of them for over a decade.
I got this trunk organizer. It seems to do this trick for some extra enclosed storage, which is one thing this van seems to be leaving
Simple Modern 16 oz classic tumbler fits (I've verified with an actual one). This size has a 2.4-inch base. Check the base diameter of anything else you try -- we have a slim 12-oz Zojirushi that doesn't fit because its base is just a little bit too wide.

We got this one for exactly that purpose, so I could work on road trips from the passenger seat. We’ve had it since October in a couple of cars and only use it when the car is running and it works great.

I have last year's Ottocast. This is the ottocast
Supposedly faster startup time etc, which if anything is the only downside to my older version. It's a good 25 seconds before it's connected but it takes me almost that time to inch out of my driveway past the 3rd car, so it's never a really an issue. I also use the navigation in the car most of the time because of the improvements in gas mileage trick with the hybrid. Carplay is only music and messages for us.
Hated lights in the vehicle and replaced all of them with LEDs. While trying to change all of them with the ones before, I got to learn that the MAP lights cannot be changed as they're soldered. Terrible, those are the main lights I really wanted to change.

I'm not exactly sure on the electric design on the Sienna Hybrid, but we have a Kona EV and have had issues with the 12v battery because its used for all of the accessories and not charging enough is small trips around town. I ended up buying one of these small lithium jumper just in case the issue hits away from a convenient location.
I have this one on my 2017. Took less than 30 minutes to install after watching the video. Works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W3QXGKH/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So I read a lot of reviews because I didn't want to use permanent sticky pads on visible areas. I also want the phone right next to the steering wheel so I can see easily.
I decided to go with this extension arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09721Q1FR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The sticky pad is placed behind the center screen where it's not visible. this arm is stiff enough to use without additional support. So far, so good.
If interested I can attach a picture of my set up.
I need to get a center console tray too. Also, this thing looks pretty neat. I'd definitely use it for sunglasses as there isn't really a good place for them.
As for the space below, I thought it would be good for my purse, but even that is a tight squeeze if it's my usual backpack purse. Only thing it seems to fit really well is a bag or drink tray from McDonalds :D
I bought a tray like this one
I was def. impressed with how well it fit in the console.
I keep stuff I use frequently in the tray…in frequent stuff is underneath. Haven’t come up with a solution for the big bin underneath…but this tray hides the mess.
I purchased these 3W brand on Amazon after looking at WeatherTech and not liking their design. The 3W ones are great! Easy to install and lock in place after removing the carpets that the Sienna comes with. There's an option for 7 and 8 seater.

I did not buy a trunk/cargo liner yet. Don't think I'll be getting seat covers.

3W all weather mats provide way more coverage than Weathertech to OEM mats. A tray organizer for the center console has been really helpful to organize smaller items. I purchased this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097PBJRVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_WSN940Q0X1V6JF828994

I use an iOttie Easy One Touch 2 which I bought for $11 but they don't make it any more.

It's how my Garmin is hooked up.
I like this camera. Got it install in my work van, my van, my Mom's truck, and my sister's Subaru.
The wires don't show if you do a good enough job.
We just got our 2022 XLE and got this one in black:
It doesn’t fit on the captain’s chairs in the back because of the attached seat belt, so we have the front two seats covered and the bench in the back. I love that the cover actually pulls over the entire seat rather than just something that straps onto the seat with no coverage on the sides and back. My only complaint is that the seatbelts don’t have a space to pull out of in the back bench, so we have it folded over a little so that my son can buckle in. We’re thinking about cutting out a hole for the seat belt, but I’m worried it would ruin the cover. Folding it over works for now.
The quality is so much better than expected and I’m confident the covers will survive my 3 messy young children in the coming years.
For the captains chairs, we just found a cheap seat cover that fits over the attached seat belt and have our car seats on top.
Let me know if you want to see pictures!
Interesting. It doesn't sound too different than the Sony aftermarket head unit I'm currently using with my 2016 CR-V. I like having to plug in the phone because it charges the phone as well. Although I know the Sienna has wireless charging on some trims.
As far as the volume, I don't currently have any issues with that so I guess we'll see what happens.
I have the same configuration as you. I ended up getting the collapsible storage bin linked below.
Looks like one of the inexpensive 4k "slap a bunch of files on a USB stick" HDMI media players is the way to go:

Burning through mobile data caps for kids movie streaming is definitely a no-go..
These things have worked out well for us; they go behind the driver’s side headrest and the passenger side person can hand off from kids to the container. Easy to dump at a rest stop and keeps stuff from going everywhere.
If you have a good mechanic I would expect them to not charge much extra, all your doing once the engine is out removing drive belts, crank pulley, then covers, then replacing timing components and retiming the engine.
I would expect this to be at least 2 hours of work once the engine is removed.
I don't know what labor is for you, but a good timing kit is $160.
Toyota uses Aisin water pumps and this kit has all OEM components so I would personally have your mechanic install this kit.
The wife and I were thinking that little shelf just to the left of the steering wheel might be a place to put a pair of sunglasses so that’s good.
I found a nice tray on Amazon for the 2021 Tacoma. Doubt it would be the same dimensions as the Sienna’s console though. We just bought a Sienna and I was wondering if just a regular plastic trash can would be better than all the fancy ones you see online. However, how do you keep it weighed down/from falling over?
We bought these little trashcans that go in the cupholders form amazon and put them in the doors. They're not big, but we empty them often enough that it hasn't been an issue.
Oh nothing to prepare on the headboard- both should mount to the windshield and back window glass with some double-sided/mounting tape. Mine goes in front of the rear-view mirror (so I can't really see it when I'm driving, but it sees everything I see for the most part).
If it means anything I have the old version Rexing V1P; it works okay but I would search around for something else. I always have problems with the app, I should have gotten something that records in 4k, and the battery life is absolute shit. It does run and works fine on loop record though so it does it's job, but isn't really the best quality (I have a 2002 Sienna and just wanted something to make people nervous if I got in a wreck and I knew they were lying; when I get a new car I'll definitely upgrade).
Should be this one
A-Premium Door Lock Actuator Motor Replacement for Toyota Sienna 2004-2010 Rear Left Driver Side https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SS6D51G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2.PBFbKZJ15X9
This is a Chinese knock off but it should work. If you wanna be really thrifty you can take the assembly apart and replace the dc motor in there which is probably burned out. I’ve done it on the sliding door power actuator before.
