Scratch the glass sphere and go for an acrylic contact juggling sphere such as this one instead. Acrylic spheres are typically cheaper in comparison to glass, the refracting light will be nearly identical to the glass variants, and they won't shatter if you accidentally drop them. Plus, as an added bonus, if you ever decide to take up contact juggling, you'll already have a sphere at your disposal. Gotta be pretty ballsy to do it with glass!

This is the one most people seem to like. I got it for my girlfriend in the Green stars/Blue Nebula version. She found the green stars to be too harsh, so I returned it for the Blue stars/Blue nebula version, which everyone seems to love. She found that too boring. So I got this. It has a lot more colors/features than the BlissLights one, for cheaper, and looks better in my opinion.

good question! I’ll start with exactly what’s in frame, then I’ll break down how you could achieve this look for cheap(er.)

So that’s what Ive got going on here… but it’s a bit overkill. You could still pick up a Nanoleaf Starter Kit (Aurora, Canvas, or Shapes) for around $180 - $200 or so. Honestly I would look for used Aurora panels. Theyre the older ones but they look fantastic.

The ADJ Ultrabars are serving as the blue/uv room wash. Theyre big and kinda expensive. But all you really need is an RGB+UV with a wide beam angle. It’s a sunset lamp & it’s on the lower right hand side if you can see it. It’s like a permanently dim light. I should’ve shown a photo with only that lamp on. There is a slight reddish glow in the center but it’s also projecting onto a another light fixture that is pink lol

Something I did with my cubes was put different colour lights in each one :)

These are similar to what I have. :) Makes the cubes look like their own individual thing which is really cool. Can get creative with them!

A combination of three different ones. Sky Bliss Night Skies was first, but it stopped rotating. Then I got one that looked more like the Nothern Lights. Then another one similar to Sky Bliss, but with different colors (I can’t find the link to that one, it was on Amazon though). Incidentally, the Sky Bliss started rotating again, but very slowly.

Things that challenge your perception are nice- I like projection mapping art, which despite the cost of many commercial products can be achieved very simplistically. With the right programs and a trip to Walmart you can even open him up to new creative hobbies. Exploring other ways to challenge his perception other than settling with the one he is in pain in. Art is a great coping mechanism, and it comes in any form you can think of. I love the technical aspects of art and when I have to figure out how to build something to ultimately change my perception it is not only a fun journey, but it is the best way I’ve found to calm myself. I'm not to big on the nebula laser lights the dj ones are my favorite. Idk how much you gonna want to spend in 3 months but I have this and it's my favorite thing I've ever bought for tripping. If you want a light that made just for a stary night I'd get the homestar flux. It is a home planetarium that you buy different picture slots to out in it so you can change the spot in space or look closer a a certain galaxy. Thank you! I played this show using software called LIGHTLINK. It's compatible with Razer, Nanoleaf, Phillips Hue, Corsair, Twinkly, and Govee. Basically what it does is play back lightshows that users make in perfect synchronization with streaming music from Spotify.

The lighting fixtures I used are Nanoleaf Canvas, Lines, and Shapes. The computer peripherals are from Razer. The bulbs in the lamps are Phillips Hue

The left wall has nanoleaf canvas panels mounted on top of those cheap 3D wall panels. I think they come from China and you can find them pretty much anywhere online. The lasers move pretty randomly and the background is as bright as any other projector. The stars are the big deal though. It will have to be very dark to get much effect from the projector lights, but the lasers won't care how dark it is.

Getting married in a month at this ballroom. Will be an evening wedding and mainly lit with LED candles and birch trees like these here. The ceiling is already blue so I thought a galaxy projector on blue would look awesome and, with the led trees, give a sort of enchanted forest vibes. Are there any projectors bright enough to be seen in a semi lit room? I’ve been watching comparison videos all day and I’m pretty sure it will at least need to be a direction laser like the blisslights sky lite or equivalent. Or am I just wasting my time if the room isn’t dark enough?

Oh, one reason for not using a single laser level is that for this effect they usually position the lasers around the room so that people walking through the room aren't blocking the light and creating shadows everywhere. I think ideally you have 3 or 4 lasers aimed towards the center from different angles.

I bought this and its' pretty good. Makes a nice aurora effect and has a couple of stands you can slip on the change the angle it projects from easily, plenty of good colour combinations and modes too Cons: I've only had it a month and it is now pretty loud when operating so it's been demoted to "party only" status where the sound will be covered up. It doesn't play nice with my GAIA galaxy projector in that the two remotes can screw with each others settings, I need to set the GAIA up how I want it first before using this one as the two remotes can change the settings of both at the same time, took some trial and error to work out how to use them as a pair.

I have this in the center of the back wall right along the ceiling.

Then i put one behind the computer monitor aimed at the ceiling to get that half of the tapestry since it isn't flat on the ceiling it was blocking the light

Its actually really simple, you tape the stencil where you want the piece, make sure its flushed with the wall, and just spray paint it. To make your own, there's plenty stencils online or ones you can buy on Amazon.

I would take an exacto knife and cut out shapes/patterns and then measure out the dimensions to make it symmetrical and even.

Here is what I would do if your worried about making mistakes. Paint a piece of cardboard the same color as your wall and just practice taping the stencil to it then tag it with UV paint. Bring that piece into your room and see how it looks under the light. I'm probably not the best teacher, just like I own the same Sublime Poster as you, I also bought the Bob Ross as well. If I made a "mistake" back in the day, I would just continue to add onto it until it wasn't.

You should pick up some led channels to diffuse the led light. Other than that, things look amazing!

So I actually got a different one because my old one broke, I got this, it has multiple colours and some different settings, as well as easier to angle the projection. It has the exact same blue/green setting as my old one! Hope this helps
