However, both DOT and ADA are Tier 4 currencies, meaning you can buy, sell, and trade these assets - however, withdrawals and deposits are not yet supported. Take a look at our transparency page for more information 👉 https://uphold.com/en/transparency
Hi there! Uphold is not a free platform. We are typically cheaper than our direct competitors - Coinbase Retail, Gemini, Revolut and Robinhood - for major cryptos. Our fee schedule is laid out here: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees. During times of acute market stress, spreads widen at our underlying suppliers and we pass these on to you*.* We also show a warning when spreads are wider than 4 per cent on an individual transaction.

I don’t wanna be this guy but read terms and services before creating accounts on these platforms. You waved your right to class action lawsuits when you created an account.
Hi there, we're really sorry to hear about the trouble with the payment 😓. Unfortunately, as our Customer Service agents advised in their most recent email to you, customers are responsible for the details provided when making a transaction, and if there’s an error, the funds are no longer in our control. As we're a bit limited to what we can do over Reddit for security reasons, please get back in touch with our support team directly and they'll be happy to answer any outstanding questions. Hi there, unfortunately, you can't withdraw TRON at the moment because it doesn't have full blockchain integration. We'd like to change this, but we're unable to give a time frame at the moment. You can see all of the tokens we support and their tiers here 👉 https://uphold.com/en/transparency
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Did you get any update on this?
I recently experienced the same thing. I withdrew $24.30 CAD net of fees
However, I only received $9.54 CAD to my Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) account. I already called my bank and they confirmed that they are not charging any fees for incoming wire transfers less than $50 CAD RBC Fees
So, it must be UPHOLD’s mistake or they really are not being transparent of their fees!
Some of Crypto, like Dogecoin, ADA ans some Else, can't be withdrawed to external Wallets. In Transparency Protokol you can See, which them are. So when you buy ADA, Tron, Dogecoin or other from Tier 4, you can only held them on Uphold.

We understand that the tiers can be frustrating, which is why we plan on moving currencies up to Tier 3 to ensure that the coins can be withdrawn.

Some of the stuff in their "Tier 4" def needs to move to tier 3. I can't wait for BAT wallet to move so I can dump these guys for good. I blame my state for shitty crypto laws too. I wonder what the turnover rate is for Upholds customer service dept....
You're not missing anything. Uphold has this dumb ass tiered system where they don't support withdrawals of certain cryptos. Why? Who the hell knows. No other exchange has that because it's a dumb idea. What it means is that your DGB is stuck on Uphold. You could swap your DGB for XRP (fast txn and low fees) send it to your exchange of choice that supports DGB pairs, and swap your XRP for a coin that can be swapped for DGB. It sucks cos you'll end up losing a bit to txn fees and and price movement, but it's the only way to get it off Uphold. Personally, I recommend against using Uphold. The customer service is lacking and leaves you hanging (as can be seen by the sea of posts on here by upset customers left in radio silence) and that horrible tiered system.
Godspeed
Uphold is not stealing your money, we charge a spread every time you trade. Our pricing model is all-inclusive. The price you see before your trade is the price you pay when you trade. Unlike many platforms, our prices are locked in pre-trade. We don’t add hidden fees, unlike some competitors.
You can learn more at https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees
There are no withdrawals fees on Uphold. Full stop. Even network fees charged by crypto networks are passed on at cost and not a source of profit to us.
If you're moving Doge to your US bank account you are converting Doge into US dollars. We charge a spread for that as disclosed here in our pricing page:
Spreads widen in times of acute market volatility on every trading venue - we have to pass on the increased costs we face from the underlying exchanges who all widen spreads during acute volatility. Why? Because they can.
Moving first into USD on the platform would not bring any benefits. You're still doing the same currency conversion as when you withdraw direct to bank.
Hope this helps.
We are always sharing live updates across social channels and on status.uphold.com. In terms of trading fees, as we've always emphasized, Uphold is not a free platform. We charge a spread and in times of extreme volatility, the range of spread may widen. Hi there,
We charge a spread when converting one asset to another. You can see percentage-wise what that equates to here: https://uphold.com/en-us/get-started/service-fees

Hi u/Mosheridze - Thanks for getting in touch, we're always listening to our community. Uphold recently integrated Chainlink (LINK), Orchid (OXT) and 0x (ZRX). I don’t have a timeline for you, but we do plan to keep upgrading Tier 4 currencies to full integration in the future.
Hi u/Vish0 - Happy to clarify. DGB is a Tier 4 currency, meaning it’s available to buy, hold and sell. We plan to upgrade some Tier 4 currencies to full integration in the future based on which ecosystems are most engaged and popular.
You can read about our currency tiers at https://uphold.com/en/transparency.
Hi u/streeeker - We're happy to provide you with additional information about your questions. You can read about how we protect our members' data in our Privacy & Data Policy. That page also describes why we ask for some of your information (including a copy of your identification card), which is to confirm the true identity of our members for compliance with rules and regulations across the globe.
Hi u/ankarlie - The first 10 verified members to correctly guess the upcoming currency will receive $50 as a credit to their Uphold account on September 30, 2019. Check out the countdown page for full contest details.
u/MartinUphold - Here is the video showing the issue on Question 2. You can clearly see the price is different than the spot, and many times, I have to go $3 or $4 below whatever I have to sell out, which kills profits often. VIDEO: https://www.loom.com/share/322765a79be04e4eaf659542422e1d12
