Veritas has a long history of not presenting "Investigative journalism" in a credible way.
One of the Twitter responses to this said, & i quote: "This is what you get for using YouTube as your platform. I'm just gonna stop feeling sorry for YouTubers." (Well actually. there's more to it, but it's pretty rude & undermines the point, so i cut it out).
I mean, don't get me wrong, i get why MysteryGuitarMan's upset, & i hope he does manage to get everything resolved, but let's face it. False/unfair copyright claims & bad customer service are practically a big part of YouTube at this point,
& despite all the bad press they get, they keep getting away with it because creators keep enabling the bad behavior/using the website because think incorrectly assume YouTube is a "monopoly," even though they aren't: https://alternativeto.net/software/youtube/
And quite frankly, while i am always willing to help YouTube creators, I am also getting pretty sick & tired of trying to feel sorry for them, too.
Especially since YouTube creators are the ones who choose to use YouTube as their primary platform in the first place, despite all the various instances of videos being taken down.
TL:DR: Just leave YouTube already if your tired of the unfair claims.
