There's Wedderspoon's Manuka Honey lozenges. The ingredients list is acid reflux-friendly.
I've switched to Reflux Gourmet:
https://smile.amazon.com/Reflux-Gourmet-All-Natural-Supplement-Heartburn/dp/B086ZYPWQK/
Works better than Gaviscon Advance for me, tastes WAY better and is reliably in-stock at a stable price from its US-based manufacturer.
I despise the pillow wedge for the same reasons. Even if I prop up my knees, it causes discomfort. Risers work and are the best low-budget option. I've swapped to a mattress elevator, which has all the upsides of a pillow wedge with the bonus of being able to sleep on my (left) side again. One slight caveat is that it's limited to 7", so if you need a more aggressive incline, you'd need to seek out a different brand.
sorry, its Teeccino. They have a sampler pack on Amazon somewhere but it's pretty much a blend of different things that help for proper digestion and natural energy. It has Chicory Root in it and a couple of other stuff. It doesn't taste bad took some getting use to. It does brew like coffee but doesn't taste exactly like it so don't set expectations to high if you try it. It definitely is not a bad substitute if your open-minded about it.
Don't give up! I know how frustrating it can be. I've tried sooo many different things like PPI's, smaller portions, limiting different types of food. These helped to a certain degree, but PPI's made it worse. I was sick of people telling me that PPI's were essential or else I'll get esophageal cancer. After lots of learning and searching, I found a way.
As they said above, find out why you have a fever first. Once your fever is gone (naturally), consider trying the GAPS Nutritional Protocol.
I was symptom free after 3 weeks, but everyone heals at a different rate. This is a challenging Protocol, but if you're about to give up, why not give it a shot!? I'm realizing that my gut health was not very good, even though I "ate healthy." This protocol is healing my gut, it rid me of reflux, it's returning my stomach acid levels to normal, it's helping me to rid myself of parasites and pathogenic microbes while providing powerful detox strategies.
Let me know if you want to do this protocol and need someone to answer questions you have. I wish I knew someone who had gone through it when I was starting. I've been doing this for about 3 months now. Everyone has a different timeline since we all need different healing, but the GAPS Protocol will give your body the building blocks to heal. It takes time and money, but even if you do the bare minimum you'll find healing. Once you begin to feel better, you'll probably want to stay committed and continue your healing journey!
I'd recommend getting her blue book, Gut and Physiology Syndrome. You can find the book on Amazon:

Check out the website: www.gaps.me
Good luck!

I don't like having to take ppis so I have done alot of research seen herbs are a better alternative.I have slippery elm and marshmallow root in pill form and I'm gonna purchase this soon.. has mint taste but in tea for added will be good.
No, probiotics temporarily helped but then stopped working. The biggest difference for me by far, I almost feel cured is 2 bags of: Herbacil Cuachalalate Tea. Abdominal Pain Aid, Pure and Natural. 25 Bags (Pack of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086Q3FMQ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_YKZ3YW73YZ4QN0AEEX8B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and one bag of: Traditional Medicinals Organic Chamomile with Lavender Tea, 16 Count, Pack of 6 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009F3PMQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_PZJYEFDF4NN3GJRDXFWF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
PLEASE, before you knock it do some research and give it a shot. I never went on PPI’s due to the nightmare stories. This has helped me more than anything. One cup in the morning and one at night!
I think what I've neglected to add here is that I took alkaline pills as well. I realized it later when minor symptoms returned a couple of days later, that I had taken full dose of alkaline in addition to the celery juice.
I'm sure any method or type of alkaline supplements will work just as well, the ones that were available at the local shop were https://www.purelabvitamins.com/AlkapureAlkalineSalts.php
https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Lab-Vitamins-Alkapure-Potassium/dp/B07RCLP1JR
I'm going to post again with this additional info.

Hey friend!

Thanks for sharing!
I had a similar feeling once or twice. Usually, it happened when I ate big meals. It also happens when I eat acidic foods. Whenever I eat something that feels spicy/acidic (kiwis, ginger, etc.) I get a sensation that I have hunger and I feel like I have fasted for days or something.
Now I'm much better and I'm healing day-by-day.
I succeeded to improve and manage my horrible reflux by tracking myself. I made a point to track EVERYTHING. It wasn't easy, not desirable to spend 2 hours per day (increments of 15 minutes 8 times per day, during meals, after meals, and between meal times). I tracked (and still track) my food items, my emotions, my feelings in my body, other events that may seem unrelated, etc.
I learned to do this because I've been certified as Pn1 from Precision Nutrition as a nutrition coach and they handled us a sheet to make assessments to clients.
I did that to myself and it totally works.
To conclude this response, I would suggest you track your food with cronometer.com for starters. There is a "notes" section where you can simply write your feelings and emotions. Regarding my assessment forms, I will write a short post here in a few weeks, along with other useful things for our community.
Stay tuned and don't be ultra scared. Just be aware that there is no magical doctor on a horse that will appear out of the blue and save the day. Don't put your trust on anyone. No one cares. Only we care for ourselves and our wellbeing. So start tracking my friend!

The plan was to use 8" risers that would raise the head of the bed about 7.25 inches. I'm assuming you don't have a flat metal bed frame? I suspect if I had a box spring like most people do it wouldn't slide, but trust me - the mattress slides very easily on top of my bed frame. In case you're not sure what I'm talking about (or I'm not making myself clear) what I have looks like this, and the mattress goes directly on top with no box spring: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FD9Y6RB/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5

This is such a pain in the ass!!!
So I feel a little better but definitely not good. I drank some Throat Coat Tea and gargled with warm baking soda. Seemed to help a bit. I’m gonna continue this the next couple days and see what happens. And what a nasty taste I have right now in my throat. Im also going to look for some Slippery Elm tea and capsules tomorrow. Supposedly it helps as a reflex. Hopefully someone will have some advise!
Forgot to add this alkaline water that helps too!
It’s this: 21st Century Acidophilus Probiotic Blend Capsules, 150 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0016OHSJ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_AJU0FbYMG66BF took a few days to kick in but feeling basically cured. Good luck!
I got the side sleeper wedge from Avana. It came compressed and rolled up in a simple rectangular box but expanded quite quickly.
Link here for the one I got: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B016AW39JU/ref=emc_b_5_i
Hope the wedge pillow works for you! Took some getting used to for me with the contours, but after having it now for few months I feel better having bought it and am using it to sleep on my left side (I've been recommended to sleep on my left side by the doctor). I have also tried lifting the headboard of my bed 6-8 inches technique, but it didn't quite do the trick for me the same way as a wedge. At the end of each night I'd find myself slipping down the bed.
Of course the disadvantage with a contoured pillow is if you do end up on your back, the grooves don't quite agree sometimes with that posture. The back wedge is a lot more advantageous in this respect.
Occasionally if I'm not careful and get a bad flare-up, I find this isn't high enough so I have to elevate further with a supplemental pillow to raise my chest and head; for the most part I'm happy with my purchase, even though to be quite honest I was skeptical at first!
Hi, based on the symptoms you described, you might want to try this supplement called GastriCELL. It's from Singapore and available in Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/GASTRICELL-Targets-Recurring-Problems-Distress/dp/B07BW8NH2K . From what i read, it is highly recommended for individuals with these concerns: 1. Recurring gastric discomfort 2. Acid backflow and heartburn 3. Incomplete elimination of H. pylori bacteria , which are a perfect match for you. The reviews on Amazon also look promising enough. Hope this helps. :)
I want you to eat more celery. And more beets. And Turkey. And fish.
They contain Nitrates. Which can help reduce chest pain, and help to determine if you have an illness that is aided with nitrates. You've got about 12 hours before the cycle starts again. Definitely eat some celery, beets, turkey, fish, that kind of stuff.
You need to stop smoking. I know, smoking is awesome. But the return on investment is terrible.
Stay away from the red sauce. It's not worth it.
Are you taking any probiotics? They can be expensive but well worth it. I take these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IFKXNUA
Do you exercise?
