Cool. I currently got a different RF modulator than you, I'm thinking of picking up the M69. But before I do that I want to try an amplifier.

Currently the signal on my antenna is so weak that the antenna needs to be touching the tv for it to pick up the signal. It doesn't go over the air at all.

I've been trying to figure out which amplifier to get, so far I'm looking at this one:

The thing that's nice about the M69 is that it has a built in amplifier / gain control.

Did you end up pickup up an additional amplifier, and if so, which?

I tried to build that style of antenna once. The results were underwhelming. I got much better results from this product.
