Are these water shoes good for the entire trip or will I also need Tevas (or something equivalent) in addition to these?
I’m preparing to go on birthright this summer but as someone who has traveled a lot, pack strategically! Bring toiletries you can dispose of instead of having to bring back home, like foil packets or just cheap little bottles you don’t mind getting rid of. This’ll leave more space for bringing back souvenirs etc. Also for women, bring a light scarf that you can use to cover your shoulders and that can also double as a light cover/“blanket” for the plane or while camping, and even as a scarf if it gets chilly at night or on the bus with the AC. I’d also suggest bringing some sort of waterproof or water resistant baggie or fanny pack for daytime adventures and the beach. There is lots of packing advice out there on the internet, YouTube etc and it can help a LOT to make your life easier.
Also, this lil $10 weight scale has saved my life multiple times trying to make sure my luggage isn’t too heavy for the airline. Amazon Basics Portable Digital Luggage Weight Scale, Black https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0186K8T9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_N7BFQZHBR73KZ7GMH3XR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got this from Amazon ahead of time and it worked perfectly! Data only but that’s fine if you use Messenger or WhatsApp. The one through Birthright is a rip-off, especially if you’re extending at all. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FI1JW72?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
