Can I recommend these things? I got them for my engagement ring for the exact same reason, and didn’t want to do anything permanent like resize it or get those little metal balls added. I just snip off a 1cm piece and twist it onto the band, and it works perfectly and you can’t even feel it. I replace it with a new piece every few weeks / months / whenever it gets gross. I bought this one (sorry for the amazon 😬) because it loosely reminded me of this and I have a bracket that looks like her Cartier one that I can stack with it. I didn’t want to really shell out for it because I change the bands pretty often, but so far it’s working well and comes with something to take out links if you need it which I took out a few.

This is a rabbit hole I intend to fall down soon. It feels similar to the diving rabbit hole I fell down into when I read Diving Into Darkness. I knew nothing about diving and really was not interested in it but wow that book completely sucked me in and I had to read more books about diving. :)
