I bought this exact one last year on Amzn and it’s still being sold. https://www.amazon.com/Morey-Bodyboard-Stringer-Crescent-Surfboard/dp/B08C7ZLD8S/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?crid=2MMWRGETIDYXJ&keywords=morey%2Bboogie%2Bboards&qid=1668054030&sprefix=morey%2Bboogie%2Caps%2C177&sr=8-10&th=1&psc=1 I used it for the first time last summer and I thought it was better than the old school Mach 7SS I got from a swap meet!😆

Great suggestion, but we dont know OP's riding level yet and I dont want to be 'that guy' butt......this board may be a little too advanced. Just look at the riders stance in the picture 1. I've been riding for years and still have yet to master that. Maybe though if OP purchases the googles in pic 3 to go with the board, it might give him the edge.
Alternatively, let me suggest this board. Sea-Doo brand which gives you license to make the jet ski noise as you slide down the line. Thats worth the price of the board alone (imo) regardless of what other features it might (or might not) have, but if thats not enough to convince you, take this line copied straight from the ad:
Lifestyle: Express yourself and share your passion with others by displaying this bodyboard as an unmistakable way to establish your riding credentials.
Pretty hard to argue with that.
Limited-time deal: ZEEPORTE Mask Fin Snorkel Set with Adult Snorkeling Gear, Panoramic View Diving Mask, Trek Fin, Dry Top Snorkel +Travel Bags, Snorkel for Lap Swimming https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033BUW2E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_dl_SPNNM3YFXKWH0ABKP5FE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have the fins from this set already. Are they a little too crappy to be used for body boarding? I know they’re not super high quality.
I've used these for almost a decade. I like um better than traditional ankle fin leashes cause I can tighten or loosen them as much as I want. The padding on the heal is nice too. https://www.amazon.com/Dakine-Unisex-Deluxe-Fin-Leash/dp/B0759SJLJB
I saw some of it in the holding on movie.

Watched it a few months ago, and it got me thinking about getting back into body boarding. A lot has happened since I left in the early nineties. First time I heard about Eppo was a few weeks ago.
If its PP they don't get waterlogged like a PE boards. Some epoxy should straighten it out for a long time as long as you prep it right. Sorry on mobile
Everyone's feet are different :)
For me, it's the softness of the pocket on top. I have a couple of bony lumps on top of my right foot, so I ground the silicon thinner on those spots. I also have really wide feet, and T2s fit without pinching across the base of my toes.
I also use the Hydro padded keepers.
I'll tell you right now it feels good haha. I'm only upgrading from this lol. Yea I'm basically just starting out. I did a bunch of research on boards though and used the help of the Booger Picker from ebodyboarding.com. I trust a pro with years of experience over my own judgement. But it fits what I was looking for because I did enough research to know what I need so I think it's a good pick. I'm excited to get riding for real. Just need fins now.
I have a neoprene shoulder strap. I tried a head clip and it was too awkward when diving and a little heavy.
This is the one I have: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NFFOI5K
It also works great when not in the water.
I know your pain. I switched to the Yi... I think I managed 120$ for the mouth mount, case, camera, sd card. Still not cheap to loose.
haha, i'd like to catch those waves at around 3' when the swell is just starting like this:

EDIT: I'm also planning to just get these if acceptable. should i wear fin socks, or go barefoot, or should i get the largest size so my water shoes can fit in em?
Im at work and not home but this is what they are http://www.amazon.com/Churchill-Makapuu-Bodyboard-Neoprene-Included/dp/B00I3K8SQM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1438625518&sr=8-2&keywords=churchill+fins
