It's not open source and it running through someone else server the answer is we simply don't know.
You are much better off with something like https://syncthing.net/ if you are concerned about the data. Always encyrpt your stuff.
Looks like this can be done with the Distribution functions of Resilio Connect but that's for enterprise users https://www.resilio.com/tech/howto-distribute/
Hello,
I would be happy to provide some insight into the Resilio products for you.
In regards to Resilio Sync. The Workgroup product has multiple pricing plans depending on how many users want to use the software in the business. Each user can install Sync on up to 3 devices that they own. So If I had a laptop, a desktop and a tablet lets say, a single license would be all I required. You can keep all these devices in sync, using our My Devices feature. You can always add single licenses (through the software UI or the online log-in you get when you make the initial purchase, as your initial needs change.
If you wanted to use the product for personal, non-business use, you could actually just buy the Sync Pro product: https://www.resilio.com/individuals/#plans
In regards to Resilio Connect, this product is aimed towards larger business and Enterprise environments. There are a variety of options to choose so that we can integrated into existing workflows of the IT admins in these environments. We do have a trial available and pricing plans that can be discussed with our sales team. Just go to our site and fill out a contact form with the details of your environment and desired use case and you will be contacted right away: https://www.resilio.com/connect/#contact-sales
