It worked for me when I used a vpn. ProtonVPN let's you sign up for free without a credit card and you get the premium version for a week. Use that to connect to somewhere with a later time zone such as Africa, and try Spotify. If that doesn't work open incognito and create a new free Spotify account while the vpn is connected to listen.
I couldn't find anything, but I did find this site that kinda guesses what the chords are by the sound. Not sure how accurate it is though: https://chordify.net/chords/switch-ugly-ukulele-cover-cavetown
It looks like the chords used are: C, Am, D, G, D#, and Cm
Here are the two most relevant quotes from interviews I could find. :)
"Usually I write to - I'm singing to myself, I guess comforting myself, or telling myself things that I need to hear, that I can't like stand in front of the mirror and say "hey, you need to do this", but when I sing it to myself as if it's in the third person... It's hard to explain." [source]
the dog talk transitions to music talk, and i ask robin about his songwriting process. “it just… happens,” he confesses hesitantly. “i never sit down and say ‘i’m going to write a song now’ and then it works. i can never do that, i can never just force myself to write a song. it kind of has to happen naturally. most of the time, it starts out with a chord sequence. i’ll think of something that i like and i’ll play it in a loop, and then a tune will pop into my head that i feel like fits it,” he looks thoughtful now. “i also have a little notes folder on my phone of lyrics that i think of; single lines. they’ll pop into my head and i’ll write them down, and i can sometimes use that for inspiration if i can’t think of any words. then, i’ll write a song based off of that one line that i thought. when my mind wants to write a song, it kind of flows out.” [Source]
What worked for me was using a vpn to a time zone where it is released and creating a new Spotify account to listen to it.
If you don't have a vpn the one I have is ProtonVPN which you can get for free without a credit card or anything. I connected to South Africa and it worked fine.
