I'm unsure exactly what you mean by "evaporate it."
Once the tincture is infused, there is no need for any evaporation or other further steps as MCT's are simply a strata of the many different types of carrier oils.
Although I have been honing my very own recipe for some time, I use my trusty Magical Butter machine on a 160° 8 hour setting; however, I've heard of a plethora of other cases in which people use double boilers, crock pots, etc.
Personally, I purchase my MCT Oil on Amazon here:

Although the price is fairly steep, it is reasonably so. All of the batches are 3rd party lab tested similarly to those of cannabinoid analysis'. It's also sustainably-sourced and is full-spectrum, containing C8, C10, and C12 triglycerides which all have their own distinctive benefits.
I'd give it a shot if MCT oil is something you're delving into. 👍🏻
Wow thank you... Looks like I'm taking a really big risk... My medication Latuda has high sensitivity to Grapefruit (related to Cytochrome P450) https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-155134/latuda-oral/details/list-interaction-details/dmid-131/dmtitle-avoid-grapefruit-unless-md-instructs-otherwise/intrtype-food
This article says I am at high risk with various possible outcomes... http://www.cmaj.ca/content/suppl/2012/11/26/cmaj.120951.DC1/grape-bailey-1-at.pdf
You must have picked one that I recently published. It takes about 2 weeks for the "Look Inside" to be added. Sorry about that. Here, try this one ... https://www.amazon.com/Cannabis-Rating-Journal-Purple-cannabis/dp/198919415X/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8
The selection there can be overwhelming. I recommend anyone starting out to get a already made shea butter mix product such as the one made by Wonderfully Natural, start there. Then make your own using raw Shea butter in bulk.
This is the Shea butter mix I started with and still use. I have had it for a year now and have barely dented it and use it almost daily. Unrefined Shea Butter - African Organic Ivory & Raw – 8 OZ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KMK8Z40/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_mQmxAbEWVXMFE
If you like soaps and want to try a really great soap to add CBD to, try the African Black Tar soap which also contains shea butter, has a wonderfully balanced pH which works with my skin and my 2-4x a day showers (esp in summer) and is soft and easily warmed to fold in some melted CBD iso.
Wonderfully Natural Organic African Black Soap, 16 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075YPG6SK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_ORmxAbRAG5166
This is the soap I use, and I cut it into about 20 or so pieces and they last for a month or longer. I havent even used half the product and its been a year. Recently I warmed a chunk and folded in 100mg of CBD iso to try. It’s so soft you can almost just fold it in at room temp. Great soap for those who have wierd skin or shower a lot. Smell is not magical or super perfumy, which I like as it doesnt distract from my cologne and hair smell.
Both the above are great for CBD addition.
