This is harsh, I know, but it was terribly written. Like a hundred truth tracts in attempted narrative form.

I really like this one. CSB Readers bible It doens't have any verses. Its really helpful for reading through a passage. Not great for following along, especially in COC where preachers seem to like to flip pages to multiple snippets throughout. But you want to read I found this to be one of the best ways. No footnotes or verse numbers its like reading any other book this way.
