The "reloaded" patch is rebalancing most of the gun variations to have same stats as their base. Also, everything available for NX in the shop will also be available for GP.
They have all been removed from the shop because of the next update. Nexon hasn't said exactly what it will be yet, but all of the affected items were removed from the shop this morning. We do know that specs will become normal mercs and spec weapons will still be usable, but they haven't released anything else about it yet.

most likely because nexon has only acknowledged one "fan site" which is CBL (which has died). Other nexon games have "fan sites" under there community tab. (ex: http://dragonnest.nexon.net/community/fansites). I can send in a ticket and see if nexon could put a fan sites link on the official website.
Do you currently have any speed gear? Going to assume you do since you can get most of it for GP now (other then recon vest)
AR: Classic g36e is always good and you can buy it for GP. I personally perf the CQB Camo over every AR but if CQB is banned in CW then i go for G3.
SMG: p90 tr if for GP or p90 trse (trse is for sale rn btw: http://combatarms.nexon.net/en/Event/View/3131) but p90 trse custom is the best smg imo. Other people might say that UMP is the best smg which can be true with its high damage is alright recoil.
SR: Tango. Just get the tango or if you want the most OP sr in the game get SG50.
About cases: imo at how nexon handles sales right now every thurs/fri nexon puts up some NX rare things for sale for perm. If you have that one gun you really want i would wait for nexon to put that gun out for sale since they put out rare sales pretty often of new things. Cases are random and give random ammount of days so you are never 100% sure to get what you want or for how long you want that gun.
tl:dr - GP: G36e, p90 tr and tango. NX: Cqb camo, p90 trse and tango/sg50. Cases are not worth just wait for the gun you want to go on sale.

My clan (TAW - The Art of Warfare) does not condone hacking in any way. We always try to have someone running the game with elite or super elite, and will kick hackers on visual confirmation. (We also kick excessive whiners, those with foul mouths, tube noobs, and specs.) And yes, we use TeamSpeak for private comms during games.

M6A2 family (Standard, Vimy Ridge or 2nd Amandement)
I haven't tried the M6A2-SRT yet, but it has 2 damage points less...
G36KE hasn't been nerfed, you might want to consider it if you like it's recoil and spread.
G36E is still a very good choice.
I haven't tried the the CZ805 recently, but M6 has way more damage.
In fact M6 and G36 have the same damage of 40.

someone finally brings up this topic. ima tag /u/NXEr1s since this is a problem that has been in the making for over 9 months now.
Give you some context for OP and Eris (since it seems like she does not know about this topic) nexon released this (http://combatarms.nexon.net/en/Update/View/866/1) post saying that they are removing alot of things from the game. This included emod "Elite Moderator and Super Elite Moderator removed from the Shop. From August 24th on, the Elite Moderator and Super Elite Moderator items will no longer be available in the shop. Further information regarding these items will follow shortly."
Now this was fine since people are expecting a post on what is going to happen with emod soon... "soon". 9 months later? Still nothing.
The only thing i can think of nexon removing emod is when the new big update comes out (which is when who knows at this point) is to make it so no one has emod anymore and majority will only use matchmaking. (i could go on another rant of how this will kill what little of NA players remain since majority of NA play Grave digger epro SR only. But thats for another thread) [This is pure speculation but this is all nexon is allowing us to do since we dont know a fking thing that is going on.]
Now this doesn't really apply to what you posted OP but megaphone/achievement system still exist and haven't been "fully" removed from the game.

Install the Nexon Launcher. http://combatarms.nexon.net/downloads/gameclient.aspx
It sounds like you have the EU client installed, so you may need to install again. The Nexon Launcher will install a modified version of the EU launcher that will automatically log you in using the same account you used to log in to the Nexon Launcher. From there, it will launch normally. If you do need to install again, it will be after the automatic EU login.
First, can you see if this video matches what's happening on your system with where Nexon Launcher is downloading files, and if the player's solution helps you?
If not, can you perform a 'hopefully more full' full uninstall of both Combat Arms and Nexon Launcher?

--With a fresh install of Nexon Launcher, log in.
--First, visit Nexon Launcher Settings (click the arrow next to your profile image and choose Settings from the drop down menu)
--Change the game install directory to something that has never been used before, whether on your C: or a different drive inside your computer (not an external USB drive or such), such as "C:\TestingInstall"
--Confirm the new download location for games, and attempt to download Combat Arms.
--Go to the folder and make sure it has downloaded the 5-6 files, as this is normal.
--If the 5-6 files are not in any of the folders where you told it to download files, attempt a 'Repair' on the Combat Arms installation to get the 5-6 files to redownload via this method.
--Once you have the 5-6 files, launch the game, which the 5-6 files should then proceed with the Nexon Europe updater to complete the process.
Check if you have a folder called C:/Nexon/Combat_Arms/ along with C:/Nexon/Library/gameapps/combatarms/ ; if you do, try to copy the files from C:/Nexon/Combat_Arms into C:/Nexon/Library/gameapps/combatarms/

You didn't mention anything about the Nexon Launcher. As of the April 2015 patch, you need to have a separate launcher (basically a Steam ripoff that only works for Nexon games) to play CA. You can download it here: http://combatarms.nexon.net/downloads/gameclient.aspx
ive seen people say that when you PULL the lever (not defeat the boss) you get x3 EXP. I tried it out with one game getting 200k~ points and waiting till 20 min. ended up getting 30k EXP. Same thing but at 30 min and got 11k. So yea you get ALOT more exp if u wait BUT if you look at the wall of shame (http://combatarms.nexon.net/Support/WallOfShame?tab=WallOfShame) and go some page's back (for me its page 6 atm) and see people getting perm banned for "Abusing Glitches" which is waiting 20min to get ~3x exp.
So just play legit and dont get banned :)
Not a bad review, but it failed to point out that there's a sale going on for perms that is for a limited time - http://combatarms.nexon.net/home/newsdetail/?contentNo=00Hw6 - phrasing in the video makes it sound like these extra-lower prices are the standard. Bit of nitpicking there I suppose.
I think I'm roughly in the same camp as the review's assessment; there are some annoying roughspots but now NX guns can be had for GP without annoying antics like opening a crapton of hisec cases for only a tiny-few offerings. That is a -huge- change in favor of free-players.
Ill write a TL:DR if anyone wants it.
- New prices for item's should reflect there rarity.
- Price difference should be 15-50%
- 1 Day GP guns are coming back
- Appears you can't modify 1 day guns (not sure nexon worded it wired)
- "Oh and one more thing, you can now purchase permanent version of all the weapons that were sold for GP."

- Changing so you can see stats of guns better (just use wiki dam)

- More guns for ranking up (Have yet to say anything if you are GOA and what you get)

Yes, the TAUs are perm guns. What gets upgraded depends on what sort of upgrade you're doing, and to what sort of weapon. Breakdown of the different upgrades here.
Note: "According to Combat Arm's production manager, the M417 TAU Series will be removed from the Scvanger/Upgrade Jobs and the Gun Emporium on either Wed. March 19th or Thur. March 20th." As you can see, they've already pulled the upgrade into on the M417 from that page. So move on that one quick if you want it, soldier!
As for "best", that's a relative term. That depends on your play style, how you like your gear to handle, and what you can afford. Get yourself into some Arms Race games - you'll get to test fire lots of different weapons for free that way.
If you can manage to gather enough nanos to get them, I'd definitely go for the TAUs over the stock perm guns you get. In many cases, the TAU guns are "better" than GP guns•, but they're sure cheaper :)
- Again, this is relative. Personally, I hate the feel of the L85, regardless of model, and would sooner use an M416, but you might like it.

We've had a bit of a fallout with previous problematic commanders and resulting fallout, so the member count's a bit low - we're always recruiting, though :) We had 8 guys at the Thursday practice last week, but end of semester and Easter break might have hurt numbers.
We play clean games, no cheats or hacks, and try to keep ourselves civilized in-game, up to kicking players with foul mouths. We're there for the fun and the challenge - if we wanted trash talking, we'd be on XBox Live :) The only requirement is that you be 15 or older and have a mic, since we do a lot of work in coms. Practice schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Sundays at 9 pm Eastern. Look us up if you're free - you've got my callsign :)
Check the new stats, M6A2 has the stats of the Second Amendment/Vimy Ridge, which means better damage than the CQB and the SRT. It's probably better than the REC7 and M417s since you can choose the scope you want, higher damage and the burst is deadly.
I just returned after 2011 too, lots of things have changed. It was only recently that Nexon made all the guns available for all ranks (check here: http://combatarms.nexon.net/en/Update/View/869). You can also buy lots of NX-only guns or special guns from cases for GP now, noticeably the G36E Valkyrie and the SCAR-L Trispear.
I think this is super cool (and literally insane) for a company like Nexon to do this, but I'm enjoying trying out all the guns I couldn't unlock before.

It looks like you have the EU installer setup on your machine, not the NA "Nexon Launcher".
Likely will need to uninstall what you have there, and get setup to play by clicking "Combat Arms Downloader" and then "Download the Launcher & Start Playing" - http://combatarms.nexon.net/downloads/gameclient.aspx

According to http://combatarms.nexon.net/home/newsdetail/?contentNo=00Ht6 TAU be axed the 23rd. Assume that is like '23rd in the morning' given when they usually do patches or maintenance.
Also worth noting that you can swap 100nanotech for -another- L85A1 TAU after you've upgraded it (e.g., you upgraded to L85A1 MOD TAU, have at least 100 nanotech, get yourself a spare L85A1 TAU). But at that point I'd recommend getting yourself the M60 TAU to have a masheengun.
