There are so many godawful trans-themed comics right about now. Even the well-drawn ones usually have annoying self-insert characters, rely way too heavily on the theme of depression, or are barely-disguised political screeds with no punch lines. The only ones I read these days are Trans Girl Next Door and Man Time.
For a classic on this theme, check out The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare by G.K. Chesterton, published in 1908.
