You should definitely consider trying these amazing PB&J crispy snacks that are sold at Whole Foods/Amazon as well as at other organic grocery chains like Sprouts. They taste exactly like a Nutter-Butter dipped in jelly or jam, and I’ve seen them in strawberry/peanut butter, raspberry/peanut butter and grape/peanut butter - they’d be right up your alley!
To all on this thread, let me blow your minds by telling you about one I stumbled on called Saucehound. They have an original and a spicy. Both are by far the best BBQ sauces I have found Saucehound BBQ Combo Better than Sweet Baby Rays and Stubbs…no lie. I don’t eat anything else now.
You may want to try this then. I'm on my second bottle from the supermarket. Usually wouldn't waste my time on a Kraft bottle dressing but saw it and was intrigued. So good.

The color in the picture on my screen is not at all how it looks in my refrigerator. It's way too green on my screen. It looks normal in real life.
a few things mentioned in The Flavor Bible are:

That's my favorite. Nice tang to it, but not overly powerful. Makes for a great sandwich or hot dog. I find it in grocery stores too. Some have it, some won't. Could always get it on Amazon.
You really need to think about their food preferences. Are they big into healthy meats and cheeses? Then mustard would be a good idea. Do they do breads? Then jams or marmalades. More into vegetables & lean stuff? A mix of Asian-style sauces for stir-fry, perhaps. (The link goes to WUJU, from the guy who developed a bunch of sauces with the help of redditors)
I'd be very careful with hot sauce, because if the parents are not "hot sauce people", it's going to difficult to find a heat level they are comfortable with.
I keep Kewpie (japanese no-yolk mayo) and McCormick mexican mayo in my fridge at all times. They serve different purposes, the McCormick is thick, great for mixing into homemade spreads, or if you want something with body that will hold up to a food that has more liquid, the twang of lime is barely noticeable. The Kewpie is more subtle, great for more delicate dishes. Both can be found at Safeway and most other stores in the PNW.
A lot of people have mentioned Dukes, it's not readily available in the PNW.

If you haven't tried that, you have to. It's cheap and it's in almost every grocery store. Make sure to get the garlic version. It's way better than the regular.
