You can get most US services. I use Smart DNS Proxy and have HBO Max, Peacock.
I signed up for the 11.99/month HBO Max deal and even with the conversion to CDN it is cheaper than a Crave TV with HBO subscription. Way better content as well.
Decide which shows you would like to watch, group them by streaming service (I use https://justwatch.com/ca to look them up, there may be other sites like this), subscribe to a service, finish a few shows, switch to another service when you feel like a change. Note that you can't subscribe for less than a month, so plan accordingly.

If you want to keep watching after April, just get a good VPN and point to Canada. I recommend ProtonVPN if you're privacy conscious. Don't be tempted by a free VPN, they make their money on your data. :)
I used to have 6 down/1 up with Teksavvy. Used a fourth generation Apple TV that was hard wired using Western Digital LiveWire (https://www.amazon.ca/Western-Digital-Livewire-Powerline-Network/dp/B003VWY0VY). Unfortunately the product is discontinued but I believe there are other similar products available. The TV was LG.
I never had any problems streaming anything (YouTube, Netflix, Crave, Amazon Prime, Vimeo, etc.).
I also had associated iOS apps installed on my tablet so I could easily scroll through new content, add and remove shows to my watch list without turning the TV on. Sometimes I would cast from my iPad to the TV via Apple TV. I never had a problem with this either.
At the time I lived in a very densely packed area of a major city. There were easily 20 to 30 WiFi networks listed as as available on my devices (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) at any given time.
What are your hardware specs?
