Great book by two liberal intellectuals on CRT and the Critical Theory from which it is derived:
If there was to be one source material for CRT, it would certainly be "Critical Race Theory: The Key Writings That Formed the Movement", which is a collection & arrangement of essays by the minds that created and coined the concept. Crenshaw, Delgado, Bell, and others.
>I’d hoped you had done more reading on the subject.
I think I done my fair share
>Give this a go if you’re not just a culture warrior and interested in learning a different perspective
Did you just link me a $16 book lmao, there you go again with tunneling wording Mr.Yojimbull, why is the book "Black Rednecks and White Liberals" tied to me a not being culture warrior and my interest in learning a different perspective and it should understood that I am considering just ask your own. I'm open listen to different viewpoints, but these days people seem to mistake that for agreeing to different viewpoints when they're presented. If you were a person was telling that clouds are made of cotton candy, Id listen we might have some back and forth, but I'd try being there, don't count me out yet.
I’d hoped you had done more reading on the subject. Give this a go if you’re not just a culture warrior and interested in learning a different perspective—“diversity of viewpoints” they call it.
I own a copy of this book. This is the book most people use when describing modern day critical race theory. Whether you believe me or not, please read it.
I will add that "critical theory" has historical roots linked to Marxism, and many of its earliest forms were actually attempts to justify authoritarian rule.
