Which simple chart are you referring to? The main charting interface like this? https://cryptowat.ch/charts/KRAKEN:BTC-USD
The cards shows the same information as the assets list, just less total assets. The list can still be accessed with one click on "Assets" at the top. If you are seeing the cards when you click that, click on the list icon at the center-top of the page to get to the list view. The site will remember that you were last on the list view the next time you click "Assets" at the top.
Hello,
The new data feeds you added for Crypto Facilities do not have the proper units for the Instruments.
Example: https://cryptowat.ch/futures/cryptofacilities/btc/usd/weekly
This currently assumes that the units are BTC in the orderbook, and that the funds used are USD.
However, these are inverse contracts, which act differently from normal spot markets or linear futures. This means that the units really are "Contracts", and those contracts take a value of 1 USD, and where traders are using BTC collateral to take positions.
Currently when you highlight a level in the orderbook on Cryptowatch for this it shows, e.g., "Buy X <BTC> to raise price by Y% to Z <USD> for a cost of N <USD>"
The way it should look in terms of units is: "Buy X <Contracts> to raise price by Y% to Z <USD> for a cost of N <BTC>"
The way you can calculate the "Cost of" portion (N) with Inverse Futures Contracts is just to take the Contracts (X) and divide by price level (Z), this would be USD (contract unit) divided by USD per BTC (price) which yields units of BTC, which is the collateral used in this type of product (representing the cost, N, above).
This is actually the same approach you should be using for BitMEX and OKex contracts which have a similar structure.
Happy to go over this in more detail if you need. See ticket #1802786 if you want to discuss further.
hey, we're looking into why this UI isn't showing you the link.
this direct link should work in the meantime: https://cryptowat.ch/desktop/download/windows/0.4.3
You can check the Credits & Billing page on Cryptowatch to see your current Cryptofinance subscription tier — to end your subscription, just click the "Downgrade" button next to the free tier.
If you mean closing your Cryptowatch account, see the instructions here:
How to close your Cryptowatch account
Good question! Credits are our flexible pricing system, so they can only be used on Cryptowatch services (like alerts and APIs).
Some more info on our pricing page: https://cryptowat.ch/pricing
cool project! I don't think anything changed, but we're actually going to be making changes here soon.
here's the response I see when I try to hit the endpoint:
{
"result": {
"price": 41896.7
},
"allowance": {
"cost": 0.005,
"remaining": 9.945,
"upgrade": "For unlimited API access, create an account at https://cryptowat.ch"
}
}
the free tier (10 credits per day) should be good for 2000 price requests/day.
are you using an account + api key?
Hey u/crypt0expert - we removed the cards page because it was prone to crashing, and we released a Desktop app that has similar functionality in a much more performant package: https://cryptowat.ch/apps/desktop
Let me look in to this with the team. Have you opened a support ticket? That's the best way to get to the right people and solve the issue: https://cryptowat.ch/support
We actually pushed this recently- try this function:
=CRYPTOFINANCE("KRAKEN:BTC/USD","ob")
It uses the Cryptowatch API, so all markets+exchanges available on that will work. When you refresh the page the data will be, at worst, 5 minutes old.
Thank you! We'll investigate. Can you provide as much detail as you can in a support ticket at cryptowat.ch/support? Screenshots of any console errors if you see them. We aren't able to reproduce so might be something unique to your system.
Just a heads up here - we've consolidated the BAB and BCC tickers for Bitcoin Cash under BCH on Cryptowatch! We had already accounted for this in volume rankings. All the markets for Bitcoin Cash across exchanges can be found on the BCH asset page: https://cryptowat.ch/assets/bch
OK I know what caused it to stop working, I just opened my laptop and loaded
https://cryptowat.ch/markets/coinbase-pro/eth/usd/30m in Firefox.
And it worked just fine, Went to browser history and cleared the cache, cookies, Etc. (everything basically) and then loaded the page again and the order book depth stopped working afterwards.
I understand the frustration. Try to understand that we are a small team with various priorities to juggle every day. Fixing naming conventions is a highly political thing, and so for now we would rather pass through the conventions of the exchanges we aggregate. That is definitely subject to change in the future, however!
I've updated the BitcoinABC Asset View to make it clearer for newcomers to the space who may be confused: https://cryptowat.ch/assets/bab
Cryptowatch shows volume both in terms of tokens transacted and normalized USD volume which can both be seen at the below link on our Markets View page. The higher numbers (20M and 40M approx) are representing the total volume of tokens transacted. Next to those numbers is a normalized USD volume number. This number is derived by multiplying the token price in a USD equivalent value by the number of tokens in the volume column. The USD volume number is what will match up with the CMC volume, as CMC also normalizes to USD.
Please help us debug your issue by following these quick steps:

If you already have done this, DM me your email address
ok, we thought we made sure the tool had a light footprint but will take a closer look tomorrow. it would help if you email a js profile of the lag as outlined here:
https://cryptowat.ch/docs/troubleshooting-performance-issues
Hey, I'm really sorry the alarms keep breaking. Many people on the team are personally using alarms daily and aren't seeing issues. Can you send us a screenshot of the console in your browser? And a screenshot of the alerts you have set that aren't firing?
Here's more detail on how to do that if you're not sure: https://www.jotform.com/help/453-How-to-get-a-console-report-from-most-common-browsers
Thank you - we'll get this fixed.
