I just made a chrome page for it to use on mobile, the site fits a phone screen nicely and you can always change where inventory items are placed in the item description (should be a drop down for container)
If you want to make a proper app for it, maybe try looking into Hermit?
Okay cool, you can follow this guide, after first ensuring DiceCloud runs properly on your machine with 'meteor run'. Should work fine. You probably don't need nginx if it's only going to be accessible from the local network.
As Thaum recently made DiceCloud open source, you can look at the commits on GitHub for a near-live updating feed of changes (there's also an RSS feed you can subscribe to.)
There's also the Trello roadmap linked in the sidebar, which is updated less frequently but is also less technical, and which also has a list of confirmed/considered upcoming features.
Yes, I want to add this.
I actually want to implement a store that has all the equipment from the basic rules in it that you can drag and drop to your character. However, for the moment I've included almost none of WoTC's intellectual property, and they still are dragging their asses when it comes to actually offering licensing terms, so I'm not too keen to push too hard to include it.
It is extremely easy for me to implement though. So what I might do is let each user make their own "store" that their characters can access and buy/take from. It means I will have a database full of thousands of duplicates of the equipment list, but it does avoid me providing copyrighted content.
> And, there-after, some way to quickly move an item from one character to another?
This might be the easiest request ;) I'll make it so if you drag an item to a character's name in the side-bar, it'll move the item to that character. Added to the Roadmap
I just realised, if I make that last feature a thing, you'll be able to ctrl-drag an item with zero quantity out of one character to another character to send a copy of the items to the second character. Play with ctrl-draggin items around, it can duplicate items already. Then you can just create a dummy "DM" character with the loot and drag its items to your party.
